1) I dared to spare Loghain in one of my playthroughs
2) I dared to start a fancomic about Anders and ergo betrayed Alistair
I think trying to offend people you don't know because of pixel characters is inadequate. I try not to do it myself. And I'm not saying being Alistair's fan is bad, because I'm still his fangirl too

I think that would make anyone that plays these types of games inadequate. Cause no matter what you do , who you play , who you save , who you kill . Someone is gonna be pissed off by it. be it a fangirl or a troll.Saying that it's one group over another is like saying Morrigan poop's rainbows. I know you can go into any group and if you say anything bad about that character. People will jump you , I have seen it ALOT. Just my 2 cents and some change !:O

At this point in time , I'm not gonna guess what romancing Alistair Anders is like. I will wait til I get to do that on my own terms . Trying to guess what the writers have in mind is like trying to guess the number of jelly beans in a jar. We could all be blowing it out of proportion , or it could turn into something disgusting. NOBODY KNOWS except Bioware and they aren't talking:)

Edit: because it's ToP!!!I can't remember who took the shot , I appologize to whomever. But it was a shot that was posted a while back. I am currently trying to get my mage threw Origins to Awakening. Edits again because of not having enough coffee

Heh, sorry...I cannot be diplomatic while one fanperson is bashing every other fanperson out there. This is an RPG, we play the way we want to, who are you to say who or what is inadequate? Did you write this story? NO. Were you born with that attitude, or did someone shove a silver spoon up your rectum, thus getting rid of your common sense by forcing your brain out your ears? Yeesh, we all have our opinions, our likes and dislikes, that makes NOONE inadequate, and it sure as heck doesn't make any one person above anyone else.

That being said...huzzah for finally being able to romance the rogue mage I have been drooling over for a long, long time!

What I love about RPGs is that I can roleplay anyone. I never denied my own Hawke may try to kill Anders. Maybe she will do it while in love with him, because it's BioWare and Dragon Age. My god child in BG2 did that to his Viconia, I kept reloading the game trying to save her until a friend told me that she can be brought back to life. XD

But I really hope this won't happen to Anders. What I really want is Justice to become a good spirit again. He may even stay with Anders, because it seems like Anders sort of... loves him.

Agreed. I just played Awakening again and, despite Justice's encouraging Ron to kill Velanna,his character is awesome. If we can get him back to that without fear of re-corruption, it would be pretty wonderful.

I'd be totally lying if I said that I'm not a bit worried. I honestly think this is gonna be a tear my heart out of my chest romance. But I'm not going to assume anything about any of the characters without playing the game. Cuz I'm sure bioware made a psycho flesh eating abomination as an LI..end of story *sarcasm* There is gonna be more to it. Haters and all that...I'm out of the da2 forums for a while.

I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Mr. Ellis on completely making me forget Disciple in his voicing of Anders. (Disciple is the ONLY video game character I've ever hated enough to want dead.) Anders sounds nothing like him. And in fact, is so different, when I heard the same man voiced both, I had to go look it up on IMDB to verify.

Does not understand how 'I don't like it when people freak out and insult me over my game/fanart choices because they differ from their preferred game/fanart choices' translates into 'I hate everyone who differs from my game/fanart choices because they suck as fans.' In fact, just that sort of attitude was what was actually being complained about, not espoused.

I suppose that even though we've managed to get this far without drama, now that Anders is a DA2 companion it will only get more dramatic.
