To be honest, is anyone else kind of hesitant they even want to be an Anders fangirl yet? I loved him in Awakening, but he could have changed so much he might not have the same qualities I liked to begin with. I've never been into grim dark angsty characters.

On a random note, have they said who is going to be the M/M romance? The elf dude seems obvious, but I think it'd be more interesting if it ended up being Anders.

Oh,
you know who he reminds me of? Gann from Mask of the Betrayer. His story
was so sad and he was a monster of a sort, he was flirty, witty and his
romance ending was great. Maybe I'm drawing parallels.

No because even though Anders was easily my favorite part of Awakening, I didn't find it long enough to get strongly attached, it seemed like there was a few dialogues, some dungeons and boom it was over. The fact that Ms Hepler seems to love snark puts me at ease too that she didn't write Anders without it, I think he's simply going to be much more dramatic, heart breaking and generally have more depth then before.

Go ahead and draw parallels. Right now, he's reminding me of Garrus in ME1 & 2. Sans sniper rifle, of course.

Maybe. I think really serious things like, say, a barely controllable demon possession could make people seriously consider whether, despite how much they love someone, a romantic relationship with them is a good idea. When you love someone, you love the whole package. Just becuase he's gone to the darkside and we stopped loving him. Anders will always be Anders.

Oh that's cute! It'd be pretty cool if Anders was the bi romance instead of the token elf (no offense to Fenris), sadly I doubt it.
Oh and Gann was the first romance character that taught me the meaning of Squee! lol

Haha I was just thinking about this earlier. Especially with the whole Justice/Vengeance thing
