What? Nate can fall in love with us too? In my playthrough it was only Anders. And Justice (Maker!!! ), but that was an unrequited love.
Aww, I wish they implemented romances, but it wasn't in patch description...:crying:

Yeah, and Velanna, too, I believe.

Poor Justice. It's not his fault he's rotting.

 A new page! :wizard:
I'm celebrating it with a wonderful picture my friend SmaiLika07 did for me (best gift I ever had!):
Posted Image
That's Anders and my orlesian warden Marina in Architect's prison. She was wounded and while she's out Anders' trying to heal her. But then she wakes up and asks:
'Tell me, why am I waking up in your arms with so little clothes on me?"
Anders replies:
"Because I'm irresistable! Don't you remember? We've had EVERYTHING!"
Marina blushes: "Wha-what?"
Anders's trying to comfort her:
"Or maybe I thought that the cold floor is not the best place for a gentle orlesian flower and my arms are much better?"
Marina is close to death after that and Anders smirks and says:
"Alright, I'm kidding. Your hands were terribly cut and I thought I might be able to fix them".
And then Seranni comes and spoils the moment. I hate her <_<

She's waiting for a tablet now. She ordered it, but delivery is delayed. When she will get it, she said she maybe will start doing comissions. We all are pushing her in that direction actually. I think talent needs support. ;)

To avoid offtopic: sparking Anders (Mhairi casted something on us and made all party sparkle):

Oh no, I'm a monster - I've just burnt Amaranthine! It was the worst thing I've ever done in games!
And Anders' face says he thinks the same:

He will never love me again!:crying:

But the begining was charming:

Ever since DG said Anders was too old to be Fiona or Duncan's son I've been thinking he does look a bit older than I at first thought. This picture especially makes me think he might be 30 rather than mid to late twenties the way I have him in my fics... *ponders*.

I've always thought he was older.  Its hard to tell from the char appearance though - but he does have quite distinct brow lines and expression lines.  But then, I'm rotten at guessing ages - whenever I see a thread talking about ages someone I think looks more than 30, other say mid 20's.

Maybe I'm just looking at it differently because anyone under 30 in real life looks so young to me now (/sigh old age approaches).

I'm glad they don't have a definite age for him. If he were, say, in his thirties I'd have to go with the likely-in-his-twenties Nathaniel for all my Awakening fangirl needs because the age difference would creep me out.

Because I like to overanalyze:

I think it's lighting. Swapping Alistair/Anders shows that one doesn't really look any older than the other, and Alistair has been confirmed to be in his early twenties (although he does look to me to be a bit older than that):

I'd guess that Anders is no more than 27 or 28 (older than Cailan, but not by much).

Mmm. He's more ascetic than Alistair - all that running from the Tower. Needs to get a few good meals into him :).

Especially because he's speaking of retirement.  I agree that it must be the lighting - makes everyone looks like they are 40. It's hard to believe that Anders can be older than 30, because he doesn't behave like that. So it must be lighting or the troubles I got him through - stress of wearing armour instead of his beloved robes, disappointment in his pretty girl's commander's sanity...
By the way I was surprized he didn't disapprove of me burning the city. I know it's probably because of successful persuasion check, but I remember when I sided with Architect I lost about 10 approval from Sigrun and Justice though the check was successful too. Maybe his LOVE makes him more forgiving to his commander's bad actions?

I thought earlier that Alistair was prettier than Anders because of his noble facial features and Anders was winning because of his troublemaker charisma... Now I think Anders is prettier (squee), sunken cheeks and narrow jaw  rock! (I want a DLC with cakes for Anders, why the hell can't I have my feastday gifts in Awakening? I bought 20 cakes for him in Origins, but they disappeared in Awakening. Ahh, I guess they had grown mouldy)

Alistair is far more Handsome than I usually go for. If he wasn't so adorkable, I'd probably never would have romanced him (Leliana would be getting tons and tons of love in my game). Anders is actually pretty perfect in my book- he's not too handsome, he's not too pretty and he has adorable ears. Add in the personality, the cat, and the saving my PC's ass all the time and it's pretty much <3.

I finished up my run through of Awakening. I'll need to do the last part over as I screwed up the riot but it'll be awhile. It took me almost thirty minutes to defeat the Mother on Nightmare.

Also, Nate's bear ate Anders for a while:

Fortunately, he got out:

Ha, looks like I'm not the only fan of his adorable ears. BioWare probable gave him that hairstyle and an earring to make sure we'll notice!  Best ears in Thedas!

Yes, even when I ordered to burn the city he didn't say: "I hate you because you are evil!" He said that we must save innocent people. And even when he's angry, he doesn't look like he's ready to do something violent . I bet templars always caught him when he stopped to save a kitten from a tree or a damsel in distress.

So the patch is, allegedly, out today. Now I'm worried it will fix the Awakening love glitch without reinstating the select responses. Oh well, you win some you lose some. My Destructo Mage will be happy to get her letters from Leliana.

Also, for Sandtigress:

I know to make approval fixes work, you have to start a new game. I have a few saves with my Marina at the very begining, so I hope Anders will still end up in love with her.
Aw, I was writing a fanfic about them today in transport. Sadly I'm not good enough in English to translate it from my native language. Because I dared to make Anders himself the narrator. :wizard:

But the thought came to my mind while I was writing it: what if Anders had affairs only with ugly women like Namaya because he was afraid that he could be captured again and would miss his girlfriend if she would be pretty. What if he was afraid to become attached to somebody who he can loose so easily? And that's why he only dreamt about a pretty girl. And that's why he was so happy to have a cat. He must have been very lonely.

I pegged Anders at being about 30. Maybe because I AM 30 myself (for a couple more days at least) I don't see it as being "old" compared to how he acts. And if I had to picture him as a real person he does look about the same age as most of my friends. (I mean, for most people, at 30 wrinkles might be at most a few teensy lines by the eyes, forehead or mouth, and even then probably only when you make a face or something. I'm the only person I know with gray hair, and I'm a genetic freak whose been graying since I was a teenager, so it doesn't count).

I know they said the PC in Origins was roughly 18-25. So if you estimate the Harrowing to be at 20 or so, (although I'd say closer to the high end just given how old most apprentices look), and he managed to escape 7 times since then (including one year long stint in solitary, however long outside the tower, and shorter stints in solitary), 30 would seem to make sense.

The character creator isn't great for subtle age differences, though. I thought they did a great job on Zevran, he did look to be in his early to mid 30s to me in terms of the hint of lines around his eyes and so on. But for the most part you're either fresh faced as a teenager or a wrinkled old bag.

I just love that you do so many pictures of Anders, Galagraphia! Yum yum yum. I'd nom on his ears any day.

Is your native language Russian Galagraphia? I noticed that you write in Russian on Dev Art. You write English perfectly!
