@Lupus, Greg Ellis didn't know about that. BioWare did it! But I'm taking it surprisingly well, you know. First I was shocked, now I'm ok. Actually while playing Leliana DLC I liked Silas and both his appearance and voice reminded me of Anders.

@nenosronhir, aww, lady Hawke gave up She will buy Anders ice-cream right? Because of his tonsils.

He will never sing "StarBlight Express" again, but he's still ANDERS, we will still learn all his secrets and he's still a romance option!

Apparently, the reason why is a spoiler.

My guess?  Anders has three VA's.  Ellis for when he's normal, Justice's VA for Justice and the "new" guy who's name I forget, for when he's all Vengency.

Just a guess, though.  Have two weeks to find out.

Adam Howden is his VA, so I hear. He voiced Constable Aidan in Awakening, the guard in the prison where you find Nathaniel Howe (he leaves to fetch Seneschal Varel), and Silas Corthwaite from Leliana's Song among others. I giggled like a mad woman when I found out Howden did the voice for the caged prisoner at Ostagar in DAO (my reasoning behind giggling involves a certain mod and horrible timing... that is all).

Anders: Well, at least my staff has less bacteria on it. Keep yours away from children, I'm trying to keep this place *sigh* aseptic.

On a similar note of childish humor, I think the sarcastic/humorous Hawke seems amazingly corny.  In the demo I found myself wincing a bit and thinking "That's not very funny".  And then I realized that she will be the perfect match for Anders (or old Anders, at least ).  She will be the kind of person to meet Nathaniel Howe and make a "the Whos, Whys, and Whats!" joke and everyone will groan... and Anders will realize he's in love.

Did you roll a mage as well? I played it on Xbox...I might need to mess around with my picture settings because some of the npc's body skin looks kind of off (ie Avelines lovely arms and Isabella's fantastic rack)..or is it just me?

And because I need the sexy right now..

Anders can look a Bela's booty all he wants. He tries to touch it though and Mage-y Hawke'll burn his hand all but clean off with hot!fire... so she can lovingly heal it of course. ;D
BTW my preconceived F!Hawke's personality is fitting so well with some of the dialogue choices. Thank the Maker! She's a total cornball in my head.

@Trip, Try setting your tv to the "Sports" light setting if you can. That made mine so much better looking.

I'm torrenting it now from gamershell. Should be done... soon. Very soon.

Had to quote this image because it's got to be one of my absolute favorite pieces of DA fanart. The depth of emotion in it.... *heart flutter* *sigh*

Also... yeah, the demo just makes me want this game NOW. Fortunately, work has fallen into place that I CAN take the 8th off along with the rest of the week (I was having to plan on working the 8th and THEN taking the rest of the week off). So, yeah, good day. Was able to take release day off AND got the shiny demo after work.

Have only gone through as Lady Hawke warrior so far. Wanted to try it since that's what I'm leaning towards for first playthrough. Definitely like the improved combat (no more shuffle dances!). Will be having fun being all she-woman protective of my squishy mages.

I can apparently only be horribly heart-wrenchingly depressing or goofy lately. Also, that is now officially, my most faved thing on DevArt, Dragon Age or otherwise. Suck on that Jane Eyre dress up game and World War Warden. XD


@DragonRacer13, that picture is just proper lovely. I love the little shade spots with spots of white highlight... whenever I try that people just look like they have psoriasis. XD
