I love you two.  I come home from work feelng like hell warmed over in a sauce pan, fall in the snow TWICE, and find nice things being said. 

Really takes the edge off knowing I'll be at home sniffling and coughing while my friends go to the club.

Awww, Lupus - sorry you're sick! It sucks, especially on the weekend! I on the other hand, have just spent a delightful day wine-tasting and am quite sozzled. With a friend who works at a game store. Who I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT ASK if he could get me DA 2 early. No. I didn't. I have morals!

@ Miri, I have no such morals. Alas I also have no friends who work in video game stores. So my lack of morals really doesn't do me much good. Ah well, only another...10 days 11 hours? until I can get my paws on Anders - *ahem* I mean the game.

@ Lupus I hear mint tea works pretty well too. At the very least it keeps the chill out of your bones. 

And on that note I think I should say...goodbye for now. After tomorrow I will be avoiding the forums until I've finished my first runthrough, so as to avoid spoilers. Catch you ladies on the flip-side.

Having said that I'll still be following your respective deviant-art and fanfic pages. Can't quit fandom (or Anders, bloody, sexy, sassy, heart-string puller that he is) cold-turkey after all.

Hm, do you guys think we shouldn't discuss here DAII super-mega-spoilers when we get the game? Like: "OMG, Anders' kissing scene was great, but then he turned into an abominatin and ate Carver who was passing by ((((" Or: "In the end Merrill said that she needed a grey warden baby or Anders would die!" What do you think? Maybe we should go to talk about spoilers to DAII thread?

Oh, btw, talked to Wynne today about how she was 16 and thought the Tower was a cage and how she was frustrated that she would never had a normal life etc. Her explanation about why she accepted her fate later made me feel a bit better about her. It seems logical. She said that you can be happy when people you care about are happy, meaning being a grey warden and giving your life for others. Funny, when I finished Awakening and discovered that Anders was an awful softie who was ready to rush into the burning city to save innocents, I thought he was meant to be a warden and finally accepted his fate too. And the epilogue confirmed that. But now I think there was more about him. He was a great warden and left the order to do something epic. Or at least he wanted to do something big and rightful, until Justice changed into a demon. How many layers he has. Will be cool to remove a few. My Hawke will start with the robes.

 I'm so tempted to instal Anderstair for Rhiamon to take cool screenshots, but she must be strong and recruit Loghain. I will totally instal Anderstair for Ray Amell And since Ray looks like this, having them two in one place will be awesome!

I've de-installed Anderstair - I took heaps of screenies of Neria and Anderstair but to be honest I don't like the expressions on his face - they are not Anders. And the voice is wrong. *sigh for Greg*.



Now I just have to finish my three other playthroughs to get all the endings

I think I'll just read spoilers. There are things I can't do even to pixel people. Can't kill Isolde or Connor, can't taint the Urn, save the Anvil, kill dalish, side with templars, kill Alistair or exile him. So, my Hawkes will live in a perfect world

I am ANXIOUSLY AWAITING further information on this Satanalia incident.

And gala, we probably should *sigh* head to the DA2 forums with spoilers when the time comes. Since I can't take time off it'll probably be the weekend before I can get any serious play time in, and I don't want to miss out on all of your conversation because of a spoiler avoidance.

Plus, I'm sure plenty of people aren't getting it release date for financial reasons or whatever.

Yeah, can we make it a fast rule that we don't discuss DA2 spoilers here. Keep the thread for nostalgia purposes and screenshots and fun, though. Start a new one over there (making sure Gala gets first post again) and wait for the awesomeness of Anders to throw us all the best posters
