I'm pretty sure that's a thing that needs to happen.
I for one will be playing DAII wondering at which point it would be acceptable for him to just have a full on beard in my fanwork. Although the new stubble looks loads better and is flail worthy.

I love both pictures, but this one looks like Anders is MMORPG addict and escapes from Maggie to go to an instance with his usual party: Justice - tank, Nate - ranged DPS, Oghren - leroy. (MMO is the only reason why I want to kill my hubby sometimes ))))

@Gala: lawls! Your hubby addicted to MMO's too? Mine's been playing CoH (city of heroes) for a while. I'll never know why he goes back to that game. I just finally got him to come over to DA though. He's currently playing a Mage in Origins. Just got to Lothering and he wants Morrigan something fierce. Bout time he came to the dark side.

I admit that I am weak. And back. I am however avoiding the DA2 forums. So I figure I'm probably safe from massive spoilers, especially if I avoid the forums when I get the game.

Willpower: I have none. Especially when it comes to DA. Especially, especially when it comes to Anders. Lord help me if I have to make a DR-esque choice for Anders.

Ok Anders fans. I inquire about who is Anders and to some extent Justice. I haven't played Awakening, I only know what bit I got from the wiki and the story in the OP. His attitube seems one of selfless laid back man, at least that is what I gather. With a Spirit filled with Vigilante feeling (right?) I can't help but think Anders might develop into a Mage version of Batman (which sounds pretty interesting).

As a non-regular of this thread, this is a nice picture.

I might wind up being a regular if my canon Hawke (female) does end up hooking up with him. Undecided if she will, though.

That's a pretty vague question.  I mean, you would know all we do just watching the dialogue videos on youtube. Or playing the expansion- it's not very long.  Or reading any number of the Anders fanfics out there if you wanted a more specific idea of what some of us think.  Several of the people here have Anders stories. 

I really don't know what we can tell you in the limited context of a forum response that you don't already know and wouldn't be better answered by any of those things...

I agree with what Lupus said. Each Anders fan here have their own way to interpret our beloved ser mage and it only strengthen each time we played the Awakening. It wasn't really long, and if you don't really want to play it, those 'Let's Play' on YT helps.

I think I'll hide from DA2 Anders forum and from dA for a while. My Rhiamon will soon lead her army to Denerim, and then I will start Awakening My party will be Anders, Justice and Sigrun. Velanna won't drink the blood this time, because I want my Justice first! I hope I'll finish Awakening and DLCs before the March 8. I want to start with her save to see how the world will react to her being Amell.

@Gala I think I'm going to do the same actually. I missed out on Sigrun being a Warden. Stupid buggy Awakenings. I'm running through Origins as fast as I can right now. Why? Because I had Origins on xbox (got 8 bizmillion achievements...), and bought DAII for PC and now I can't upload my xbox Avayla into my DAII game. My hubby decided he wanted to play it on the PC (of course when I complained, he brushed it off lol). Sigh. So, because I'm insane, I'm restarting. But, this time Im getting mods like crazy. Why didn't I get DAO on PC in the first place?! So, any fun mods for DAO or Awakenings, let me know. I'm going all out this time!

You can always break immersion and run back to the Vigil once you've picked up Sigrun/Velanna but before you go into Kal Hirol or The Silverite Mines. They can Join as soon as they're in your party.

I have two Wardens in Awakening right now. I'm mentally preparing myself to play 2H warrior in DA2, so I respecced my Cousland as a 2-hander. This means I had to grab Anders straightaway rather than letting him go at first. I needed Haste more than I needed to pretend like my warden values his freedom.

I have to admit that I've missed his banter when you first meet Oghren and later when you discover Rowland.

@Surely, wow, I never thought about that. It's funny, because the Warden offers them to join in the end of the quest ))) But I really want to see more of Justice.

We all have different ideas. I think he's 26-28 in Awakening, based on personality and the fact that we know Nathaniel is 30 and I think Nathaniel looks and acts older. I RP my Cousland as being 21 when the Blight starts, so he's four to six years older than her.
