PS. <3 Mel_Redux for her comment. Motorboating, indeed. What would the Thedas equivalent be, I wonder?

What's it called when a horse makes that PPBBTTT sound?  Not a whinny...that other sound.  That would be your equivalent.

Cantering
Trotting
Galloping
Walking
Prancing

Those are names I can remeber hearing. Also sweet pic, Anders should have been in Origins, actually the whole Awakening cast outside of Valena deserves a full lenghth game.

The horse thing...You're talking about when a horse blows air through it's lips. I know the sound, but can't for the life of me remember what it's called.

Okay, I admit being a bit naive about things.  So I looked up motorboating.  Did you know that there is a merit badge for this?  Here it is...
Motorboating
- MeritBadgeDotOrg Jan 11, 2010 ...
Explain first aid for injuries that could occur while motorboating,
including hypothermia, heat reactions, dehydration, motion sickness,

LOL. I'm going to assume that, since Anders is a healer, this is one badge that he definitely has, even if he is his only patient. Well, I can see heat reactions being a problem for whoever is on the receiving end.

I'm going to go hit my head against a wall now, if only to eradicate this whole train of thought I have going.

I can't help myself. Hypothermia can occur on a cold winter's night in the back seat of your Plymouth.

Dehydration doesn't really need an explanation.

Lol!  Just keep your first aid kit handy and you'll get both badges at once!;)
And as a good night gift, I give you some Anders eye candy.  Have a nice evening everyone!

As I possess no creativity, but can switch a head morph and hit Prnt Scrn like nobody's business, I have to get my Anders romance squee through Anderstair.

No, it's just the lighting. It does all kinds of wonky things to the skin, like gives the men reverse farmers tans*:

*Someone smart said that this was because I make my male companions (especially the snarky blond ones) run around in nothing but a helmet, so their faces are the only thing that wouldn't be tan.

She captures the smirk really, really well. Something GOOD just happened - or is about to happen.

I feel like I'm a complete idiot -- I don't understand a half about all that motorboating thing and what it has to do with the first aid. *sigh* I guess I'll just do some steamy sketches.
BTW, my friend told me yesterday that we must rename  Cone of Cold into Cone of Love when Anders is the one who casting. Because the heat here is unbearable and cone of cold would've certainly been a great help if somebody was going to make love. And this spell also produces a lot of steam...

Thanks for support! It's so tempting sometimes to enter Sten's mode and say: "Why do you speak nonsense? Speak common language!" I can understand how poor qunari feels :D
Well, at least this thread is very educative XD

No, it's not winny.  That's when they go "REEEEEEEE-he-he-he!".

LOL...this is cracking me up.  And duh, I should just ask my sister....she's a horse person.  BRB.

I found it!!! Posted Image

NICKER:
With his lips closed, your horse makes this soft "rat-ta-tat-tat" sound. It's usually, with a raised head, saying "Hi, I'm glad you're here".

So after all that: Nickering is the Thedas version of motorboating.  Back to your regularly scheduled Anders talk.

EDIT:  LOL....I jsut found this in an explanation of different nickers!:
"Hi, beautiful!" or "Woo Hoo, you're sexy!" - Usually said by a stallion. This nicker is slightly more intense than the one above, with mating in mind, and accomodated by shaking of the head.

I'm sorry, I'll really let you get back to Anders now.....but I'm laughing my arse off

So this is hilarious.

PC: Anders, are you staring at my breasts again?
Anders: *smirk* Of course I am.
PC: As long as you don't get it in your head to try and nicker me.
Anders: Well, it wasn't in my head before, but it certainly is now!
