I ordered it from Amazon, and it's release-date delivery, but I'm expecting that to mean "sometime in the middle of the day." On the one hand, I'm kicking myself for not going for a midnight release somewhere. On the other, I stopped to remind myself a bit ago that everyone who IS getting it that early is going to put in a good twelve hours worth of play / test / troubleshooting into it before I get anywhere near, which I hope will work to my benefit if there's any quirks that might slow me down anyway. (The PC version never seems to avoid having SOMETHING go on.) So... y'know. It'll work out.

Even though I will be GNAWING MY DAMN NAILS ALL DAY.

eta: ....crap.  Top of page.  Um.... flail.... QUICK, SOMEBODY, POST A PICTURE.  :)

@Cave I stole that little one of Alim and Anders kissing for my ff.net Avatar. (I credited you, though) It's so fabulous.

I think the top one is Anders from the Blood Wound pic but before the entirety of the awesomeness hit it ;)

Mmm, sexy glowing eyes.
BTW, I'm not sure it's a spoiler. But the other thread is one big spoiler now. Gives me filthy ideas. And I'm away from my tablet (((((
These spoilers make me think that BW decided to make Anders a completely different character. And for some reason I don't mind. I guess I'm in love with that "Anders" sign flying above his head. And with his boots.

Mmm, one of the spoilers made my day. My 1st DAII playthrough must be with Rhiamon's save! Must! I have 3 days to finish Origins, Awakening and DLCs! And I suspect my comic will go to trash XD Or maybe I'll finally accept that it's an AU and will give Anders and Marina a happy ending.

@Miri, No problem whatsoever. ;D

@Lupus, Thanks! It was my initial Anders from Miri's Blood Wound drawing. I was testing out Anders' expression. You have to watch Anders; his face goes from jaunty to super pissed in like two strokes of the stylus. XD

@Gala, The only spoiler I've gotten so far only means I need to edit my "Good" comic with a couple more scenes. :3
I really like the direction they're taking Anders, but of course I do. I love depressing Anders... or well anything really. XD

I still think he's going to be pretty much the same guy, except now he'll have tortured bits. I haven't seen any of the gameplay video, and I DON'T want any specifics, but is there party banter like there was in Awakenings and Origins? Do they talk to each other when you walk around? I've seen little tantalising glimpses of people TALKING about him and it seems he still has his humour.

It won't stop me from cuddling him at every opportunity to try to make him happy again though.

 Anders hates when it's silence in his thread:

Awww, Rhia and I were in Gauntlet today. Oghren said how awful he felt about Branka and really made me cry. Poor Oghren :crying: Also, this was a funny part. <3

EDIT: Miri, I've heard Varric and Avi chatting behind Hawke's back. So they still do it. But I've skipped almost everything. It's REALLY boring to watch how others play. Especially  when I see people throwing fireballs at Carver, I want to shout: "What are you doing, it's your brother!!!" (nightmare addict here, my Hawke's mind blast makes poor Bethany fly, I feel awful about it, the spell didn't do it in DAO, I had no idea :pinched:)

Apparently there is banter, because someone complained about it triggering in combat. I was hoping they wouldn't do that any more, since I always miss out on the best stuff. Stupid combat, always messing things up.

I shall do my normal trick of keeping voices at 100% and everything else at about 20% then. The music and effects were stupidly loud in origins.

My favorite thing is one time Alistair was flat out laying dead in a corner of the Mage's tower shouting, "I think we work well together!" Apparently, not too well Al. XD

Okay, so I just spent way too much money on this new tablet and what do I draw first, Mae thinking about naked!Anders and pie.

Yeah, that was money well spent... totally worth the ulcer. XD

@Lupus, An Intuos4- small... it's kind of amazing compared to the Bamboo which I literally wore-the-frack-out. The casual hobby tablet is not for Bef apparently.

@Gala, Thanks!<3

@Cave, I have Intuos 4 too! I wanted to buy Bamboo at first, but husband said: "You will buy Intuos anyway, don't waste money on something you will throw away later".

@Gala, Cool! Yeah, I didn't think I would use it nearly as much as I do. I was worried I'd get the more expensive one and hate having a tablet, so I got the Bamboo. I'm not too upset, the little Bamboo more than paid for itself in commissions and just learning how to work the tablet. :D

@Cave, I see. We just had a tablet before Intuos, but it was a crappy little genius. I couldn't draw a fine looking line with it, but I used it to color my 1st comic. Husband's objection about bamboo was because he thought it would be as bad as the tablet we already had.

To stay on topic... It's morning here. Good morning, Anders:

I sell those. Wacom are the best, and really, you're better off with a small Intuos than the biggest bamboo they have.

And oh good morning indeed. Or night, which it is here.

@Cave: Ooh I have the Intuos 4! LOVE it! Though I'm no where near as talented in the drawing department. I'm good at stick figures though. :/ Mine is used in Photoshop to touch up wedding pics. :)

@Lupus, Yeah, I debated stepping up in the Bamboo line, but I just decided to pull the trigger and get the good one. I totally couldn't get a bigger one, because I like cradle the tablet when I'm drawing on it... also my heart would explode if I spent any more money. Tee hee

@Avayla, I'm loving it so far. It's good to hear it works well for touch up work too.
