Disheveled hair is hard to do right. But when it is done right UMF. My husband constantly bemoans the fact that he has lego hair. You can take to it with honey and tar and it will still sit neatly on his head, poor chook.

So my pixel men can have messy hair, because it's all part of a healthy fantasy life *nodnod*

There's so much new stuff on DevArt. My Anders fangirl heart is getting BIG.

Now that I see Anders as the Gambit of Thedas, I will imagine him shooting flaming razor-sharp cards at fools! With fluid and sexy movements too...can't wait to see him in action, not just looking at teh gif

I'm almost ready to play DAII. I've finished Origins, but I think I won't finish Awakening in time. And I'm scared, because the ending was awfully glitchy. Cullen is mad (got this epilogue for the very first time, and it totally ruined my comic), Anora and Ali can't decide who's the ruler (in the end of Origins Anora went alone in the coronation scene, but in Awakening Alistair came to say how much he hates Rhia). Ugh, I'll import my Perfect Cousland first, I suppose. Rhia will live in the comic.

Oooh, 24 hours left!

I've my e-mail from EA saying the game shipped. But the tracking number for UPS says they don't have it yet. Hope it's not still sitting on a warehouse floor somewhere.

But as I'll be in dern bern Denver with no good way to play the game until way late Friday night- it doesn't really matter. I'll be in the corner crying now

Popping in a bit late on the convo, but I'm salivating over the Gambit/Anders mash up. I've been in love with Gambit since I was in diapers. The idea of Anders being the Gambit of Thedas makes me drool over him even more. I'm so lucky my hubby is going to be playing DA2 as well. He can have Isabela, as long as I get me some shmexy mageness.

I don't think that's much of a spoiler. At least not one that really affect anyone's perception of Anders. I always assumed Anders wasn't exactly against lovin' of any ol' sort. XD

How do you get Cullen to show up in the epilogue at all?  In all my playthroughs of Origins, I've never had him mentioned.  I've read on the Wiki that he can have 2 epilogues (I think), but I have NO idea how to trigger them.

@leggywillow, I don't know. I've re-played the ending and didn't ask to free mages this time, and Cullen wasn't mentioned. When my Amell asked for a boon yesterday - he went crazy. Funny. My very first Amell didn't ask to free Circle and remained as Alistair's advisor, and Cullen wasn't mentioned in the epilogue. But when my Suranas asked for a boon - Cullen wasn't mentioned too. So I have a crazy theory that Cullen loves f!Amells more than f!Suranas. Anyway, I'm happy that he's not crazy now. BTW, is this a bad thing that I miss Loghain? He was adorable. Next time I'll make a god baby to save him.
Hehe, I've found another guy in Awakening with Greg Ellis' voice - it's the soldier who asks to find him bandages.

I think dialogue tweaks fixes the mage boon glitch. Or maybe ZDF. One of them does, I know that for sure.

Ah, that explains it then.  My Amell was an ambitious and selfish little thing, and she chose to make herself Alistair's Chancellor.  (I imagine she would giggle with vaguely psychopathic glee over the inevitable rumors of the maleficar seductress controlling the king.)  My Surana will probably end up with the crazy angry Cullen ending, though.  Poor thing.

Thanks! Actually, this makes sense: Anora says that Chantry will never allow it but it won't hurt to ask. Alistair is more optimistic. I think Chantry didn't take his words seriously and Grand Cleric said: "Hahaha, ok, go back  to your palace now, kid". Anora probably arranged something big, failed but that was enough to drive Cullen crazy: "Oh, Maker! They are going to FREE THESE MONSTERS!!!!"
And I'm ok with not asking for a boon this time, it wasn't in character for my Amell anyway, it was more like an old habit  Sane Cullen is more valuable to me.

SQUEEE! The cute FedEx guy just dropped off my new fancy shmancy laptop (which wasn't supposed to be in until the 15th) and I just got an email letting me know DAII has been shipped and will be here tomorrow. So.freaking.excited. Though, I don't know why. I'm not finished with my (4th) DA:O playthrough that I'm planning on importing. I'm going to be a good girl. I'm not going to open the game box until I'm done with Awakenings...again. I won't. I'm not even going to peek, and look at the shiny CD. I'm focused. I will play all day and all night so the temptation to install the game won't even be a problem. I can do this.

I decided yesterday that after playing through Awakening twice in one week, I couldn't cram in another run before DA2 came out. My poor Destructo Mage, who has been revamped twice already, will just have to chill with Mhairi outside of the Keep until I can work up the energy to go back to DAO. I have two PC imports ready and there's always my PS3 characters if I'm really desperate (since we'll be getting DA2 on both platforms to satisfy my boyfriend).

I think I won't sleep tonight at all. Or maybe I'll go take a nap now. I was busy killing the Archdemon twice last night. 6 hours left before I get the game! I hope my internet won't die or crazy kids next door won't cut of the power.
