LupusYondergirl, thank you, but actually he's not grey-haired, it's a side-effect of being in the Fade. The lighting there makes colors look odd Marina's hair turned pink too

It's just so...not cute. I think maybe it's that icky Branka hair and the facial tattoos.

The skin texture they use on her isn't the best one.  I have a mod for her, but it's just to change her skin into something... healthier looking, and that alone makes a HUGE difference.  I justify it as cannon-friendly since I have to figure when you meet her she's half-starved, exhausted, filthy, and has probably been fighting nonstop for hours or even days.  A rough time, even compared to the NORMAL difficult life in the Legion of the Dead.  I don't think anyone would look their most fresh-faced under those circumstances.

She does have a great mouth, though.  The smile animations for her are fantastic.

(I like the pigtailed hair, though.  I used that one on my first elf and dwarf playthroughs so I don't really associate it with Branka)

I was thinking about doing (and have mostly-written) an epilogue for Anders and Maggie where they go.  I don't know if it's too dark. though, so it may never see the light of day.  And I don't want to think about Anders, like, dying.

He really would be. Now I want to write a story about Old Man Anders being inappropriate. 

Maker, I can't fathom any of my PCs going on their Calling, much less Alistair or Anders. That's one depressing place that I will probably never, ever go.

Isn't Maggie a blood mage? Can't she ask Avernus to teach her how to live forever?  (And Anders!)

I always got the impression Avernus was getting the life from elsewhere. Sacrifices or something like that (since there were fresh bodies in his study). I suspect there's a balance. He can't get more years without taking them from someone else.

But the blood mage can control the blood, I'm sure he or she can slow the taint without making human sacrifices. Besides, in "The Calling" there was a case of complete recovery from the taint -- Fiona, but it was some kind of side effect from removing the curse which accelerated the taint. Actually I'd hoped something like that would happen to my lady Cousland in Awakening and she and Ali would have babies. But alas, Architect simply died.
