Gala, make sure you have lots of tissues next to you for Undertow. I've cried more reading that fic than any other.

I'll go buy myself a pack of them right now. I hope people in trains won't be shocked seeing a crying fangirl =]

That it is, Sandi. That it is.

For a laugh I clicked on the links to Greg Ellis' songs that Gala put up in the Anders Admirers group and one of them is pure pop and my daughter is dancing around the room like a mad thing. I swear she'd dance to Rick Astley if I ever put it on...

I'm spending my well-deserved lunch time reading Undertow... I think I'm starting to swallow this book (right, I call it "book" because "fanfic" is humiliation for this) and I can feel its influence on my mind. Someone in my own DragonAge-inspired universe is going to die very soon, but I'm happy at least it won't be Anders. No, Anders will get a cute little prize for all his troubles. Very cute, but perhaps not very little...

I'm lucky I still have Miri's Neria&Anders to read about when I feel sad. :)

He is.

I generally found those bickerings in Awakening are ten times more interesting than in Origins. Not that I don't like Origins or anything. I love them both.

I know what you mean.  There seems to be more party conversation points in Awakenings.   Or perhaps they fitted more in to a shorter game ;-)  I love that they keep talking if you start a fight.

I'd like them to combine the party banter of Awakenings with the conversation depth of Origins.  Heaven.

Me too. Especially in Kal-Hirol when you are passing by a golem and Anders starts to giggle about Sigrun's thing for his kitty and then while they talk the darkspawn are rushing out of nowhere. And then Anders kills them all with his godlike magical powers and says that everybody must have a pet. :D

Sigrun and Anders! I remember I've seen a comic strip about their 'let's torch that bush' convo somewhere but can't locate it now. It was another funny one.

Okay, and I encourage you to shamelessly post more of your own artwork.  :bandit:  Because I like looking at it.  The arwork, people, the artwork!  Sheesh....

And that Anders/Nate convo had me dying in fits of laughter the first time I heard it!

I used the "Howe" conversation as an excuse to have Anders tend towards bad jokes and puns in my fic.

I generally found the companions in Awakening more interesting than those in Origins. Not that I don't like all the companions, because I do, they all are nice and very well written. It's just that in my opinion Anders & Co. are far more awesome than Alistair & Co.

I totally agree!

Mmm, my brain works in odd and mysterious ways. I was reading SurelyForth's fic and Anders' interaction with little Bryce pushed me towards the thought that all kids probably adore Anders and he probably likes them too. And then this pic appeared:

That is so sad and sweet and I love it! And I am using my Jedi powers/Warden coercion skills to get you to draw us a pic of Brand/Anders/Bryce. *waggles her fingers*

Oh, I'm thinking about it! But so far I have only sexy images of Brand and Anders in my head, kids must stay away from it  Need to read more chapters first.

Well, you know, wherever your muse takes you...you can just send Bryce off with Fiona and Pounce for awhile. :innocent:

Have I mentioned that I love the simple mages robes? I wish they had them in Dragon Age, I actually miss them from Oblivion.

Why do mages wear robes anyway instead of regular clothes? Aside from advertising the fact that they're a mage is there really any point?

I rather assumed he wasn't serious and my question was.
