Reviving with a stupid picture from Silly Headgear Day:

Posted Image

You have no idea how much I love you for this right now.
Just found out my email was hacked (!!!!!!) by some jerk and all my friends got emails from me overnight asking for money since I'm, apparently, trapped in England!  News to me!  Slamming my head against a wall until google finishes their "investigation," and I couldn't even give them all the info they wanted since I've had my account since gmail launched.  LIke I remember who gave me an invite code six years ago!

Silly hat Anders has been the first thing to make me smile all day.

This must be a new thing going around. Just last week I got an email from a friend saying she had lost all her money & passport and was trapped in Mexico. It was a scam, of course. But they'd hacked her email and sent it out to everyone. Some people had tried to help, before they found out, but luckily hadn't yet given the money when she found out about it.

Here, have another Anders. He helps everything.

One of our student volunteers had her email hacked and used for the same scam. Since she was so heavily involved with campus life, including being  a student advisor to the president of our university, that scammer had pretty much every upper level administrator here scrambling to help her.

Fortunately it was "calling and pulling strings" help and not "sending cash" help.

Ugh, it was my own fault. I haven't changed my password in... years? I made a new email and have been going through changing the ten thousand sites I'm on one by one. How sad is it that my first thought was "I could get a fic review and miss it!" after I stopped worrying about my online banking and paypal and other 'rob me blind' options?

Granted, having my iphone suddenly drop dead on me an hour later didn't improve things. But now I have a 3GS instead of the plain old 3G since my roommate was nice enough to take me to the AT&T store, so, hey, that's something. Can't really AFFORD a new iphone, but the 3gs is cheaper than any android phones and blackberries, and it lets me recover my contacts. (and no, a non-smartphone didn't really occur to me. I forget they exist sometimes.)

HELL, I think I'm going to go and change my password now. I got gmail ages and ages ago as well.

Since my crappy day killed the thread I come with a Very Special Anders picture.

Presenting... that magic moment when we first meet our mage. Since hey, how often do we get to admire... the way those straps on his belt cross in the back. Yes. The belt.

(Featuring a dead templar. Not shown: Ser Redshirt.)

But this omits the best part of his intro (besides his talking), which is his hands:

I posted an Anderps for SurelyForth in the Alistair thread but it might have gotten lost in the shuffle, so here's a repeat of the magical dork.

I forgot I'd been playing around with mage robes, and when I got to Awakening and met Anders...

Well, see for yourself (Anders closed his eyes for this pic, he didn't want to know it would be recorded for all eternity)

HIGHLANDER Anders! "I've been to lots of places..." The muscles just above his knees are extremely raunchy - or is that just me???

Yum.

That's beautiful. Who was it before you made it into my favourite mage?

Alistair. There are so many mods for him that add little cutscenes, so you can get close-ups that aren't just *talking* or *listening*. I'll spare everyone the images of Brand and Anders with their tongues down each other's throats.

Miri, no. I did the sketch first and then started to look for pics because I didn't like how it was looking. I was in bad condition yesterday, my town is surrounded by burning peat bogs and smoke is everywhere combined with abnormal heat. I redid that picture, I think it looks better now:

He thinks we won't realize that he's not actually drinking anything. Then again, Varel was probably too busy making crazy faces to notice.

Alright, Anders, I believe you. But when a hurlock will bite you please don't start running around crying: "Aaaaaaiiii, burns, burns!!! I'm dying! I'm dying!"

He totally did, but then he got distracted by the new concept art for Qunari women and was ... imagining.

I've been reading about the heat over there - hope you're holding up. It sounds dreadful!

Anders will have to cool your toes with a little ice spell ;).
