I have a feeling that Anders had a family and they were good people. Because though he likes to seem self-loving metrosexual sometimes, he shows compassion and humanism that surprised me at first. I think such moral values can't be learnt if you spent your childhood as a 'street rat' or something. It must come from parents.

That stands out to me, as well. I was actually surprised in the end of Awakening when he was the one most vocal about sparing Amaranthine. I think that tipped me over from "Eeee, Anders" to "I am seriously in love with you."

Now I'm picturing the Fereldan equivalent to Santa Cruz or San Francisco. Anders growing up in a commune. No wonder he had to be free!

Errr.. Shouldn't he look less clean then? 
No, they probably were devout andrastians, but not fanatics, so he had enough freedom when he was a child. They could be merchants or craftsmen, I think.

Of course, there would be an upside -- there are some pretty good smells out there too. I think Anders would be one of them. Spicy.

Funny, I had this thought too. They really suit to each other: they both are optimists, both have a good sence of humour, she has tattoo on her face, which he finds attractive, and he has a cat, which she finds fascinating!

And after Aimo's comics I think that tall humans and small dwarves look adorable together <3

But of course this will never happen in my playthrough, my warden keeps Anders for herself

Hehe. I paired Sigrun with Zevran in my fic. Going to write another little fic about THAT romance soon. I picture Anders and Sigrun as best buddies rather than romantically involved. I love that dialogue when she asks him to set the bush on fire - I can just see them getting drunk together and running around Amaranthine finding things to magic.
