Crankypants Nate is indeed VERY hot.  I jsut keep telling Surely that Nate's crankypants need to be...uh....soothed.  Preferably by me.

Funny, I almost posted a post-Mother fight picture of Anders and Esra that I, inexplicably, have on my Tiny Pic profile.

I always feel so badly for Anders and his pieless existence. It seems like the Tranquil could take some time away from making the mages drunk and whip up some damn pastries.

Prolly the top one because we were discussing why you got a more head-on angle in the famous Branders shot.  I guess we decided that was a mage PC vs. warrior PC diff.

I always feel so badly for Anders and his pieless existence. It seems like the Tranquil could take some time away from making the mages drunk and whip up some damn pastries. 

Same thing with Alistair, too, like when he talks about pie in his Fade dream.  Apparently no one in the Chantry ever bakes pie.  Maybe there's an ordinance against it.

Gaider knows he's going right to the female jugular with lines like that.

BTW, re. Esra Awakening screenshots, if you haven't read it yet, I wrote a 2nd little story in her cycle that has a certain irony in it you might enjoy.

Mine doesn't mind, but she was supposed to be helping me with sad stuff and, instead, she's off giggling in the corner while Anders does wonderful unseemly things to her. Good for us, bad for story.

Wow.  I think I can safely say I've never had a really good pie, then.  What are you people putting in your baked goods? I'm clearly missing out!

While the best pie I have ever had was nowhere near as awesome as the best sex, there has been pie in my life that was comparable to decent sex.

And, also in pie's favor, I'm more than willing to give bad pie a second chance.

We may have to agree to disagree, ladies. In the pie vs sex choice I can't imagine ever reaching for a fork. (Let's call it field research for smut, though. Sounds better that way.)



Hm... speaking of, maybe I should do some Anders and Maggie smut in my next chapter. It's been a few. Maybe angry-at-the-world smut. That could be fun. Anyone have any sad-Anders coming up I'll need to counterbalance? (Surely, looking in your general direction there...)

Substitute molten chocolate lava cake for pie, and I would totally agree with this.

And I  would totally pass up mediocre sex for some really good pie. Or really good baked goods, in general.

Edit: But we all know he would be better than pie. Much much better.

Well, I'm not choosing between them, I'm just looking at some key individual pies v. some noteworthy (or not so noteworthy) encounters and there are times when the pie comes out victorious. 

No sad Anders for a few chapters. I'm working on a sweet smut oneshot, so that should create a nice Happy Anders buffer around me for awhile. 

PS. This conversation is not helping me get a handle on my errant muse, by the way.

See, sex is interesting. As is pie. There are times (such as now) when the very THOUGHT of sex is enough to make me want to vomit (sex that involves me in some way, that is, quite happy to read about sex happening to other people!). Also, there are times when the very thought of pie makes me want to do the same. So it's very mood related (or being enormously pregnant related, both in regards to sex AND food).

Also opportunities to have sex when sex is available are few and far between these days. If you give me the choice sex or SLEEP - well... sleep wins 80% of the time and the other 20% it has to be VERY FAST sex  (so I can fit more sleep in).

You are not alone. I think marriage makes you value good pies   But I would prefer not to choose and have both

You are not alone. I think marriage makes you value good pies   But I would prefer not to choose and have both
