I like that one, too, because...yes.

And I, unsurprisingly, have some Naked Barbarian Anders at home. He's difficult to capture because mage poses aren't nearly as interesting as DW/SS poses (except for Winter's Grasp). I'll have to work on my NBAnders portfolio for the gush thread.

He's paler than Alistair - but not as pale and sickly as Nathaniel or Sten. Sorry Nate fans! I still think Nate is attractive, but not... you know... Andersworthy.



I don't know, I think he also looks a little skinnier than Alistair and the warrior PC, but that could be my imagination. They should have had a different body type for mages - I used to always laugh at my little male elf with his enormous pecs.

Ahh, I now can't wait until I play DA:A again. My computer broke about a month ago so I haven't been able to play for ages! Though now, I can go back and play and squee at Anders as much as I want. *Maybe I shoulda posted after I'd played for a bit... meh*

Have people kept the Chasind robes all the way through DA:O just so they can dress Anders in them? Or are there robes in Awakening that look like that?

I am an expert on the robe situation: The only sets of Chasind-style robes you get in Awakening are Velanna's and the Architect's. The blue robes are the male version of the Witch's Robes that you buy from Wonders of Thedas. There's also a set of orange robes in the same style you can buy there as well.

As soon as I found out there was a male mage in Awakening, I set the Chasind robes aside for him.

My first playthrough Awakenings I was a mage myself, so I'd brought a bunch of extra robes not knowing what would transfer over. I just happened to have a nice blue set for him. After that, I *always* bring him some good looking clothes!

So taking action shots of mages is surprisingly difficult, what with all the spell effects (did you know you can see their breath when they do cold spells?) and generally just hanging so far back.

I think that sort of thing is why Brand Cousland goes slightly  even though she shouldn't. He can rain mayhem and destruction on their foes and heal her when she does something rash and be witty about it? He's pretty much the perfect man!

my only Anders picture is this one I drew. I love Anders. He and Nate are neck and neck my favorite NPCs in Awakenings (followed closely by Sigrun) Not quite topless but there is some nipple slip in there.

I haven't posted in character gush threads before, but I'm breaking it now.

I don't think I'll ever tire of seeing that Anders drawing, regardless of how many times it was posted in the Alistair thread. It's cute! Also,  for Ser Pounce-a-lot and nip slip. Simply adorable, sylvanaerie.
