Ironic that he's using lamppost in winter to cast that, though...
I think he's casting something else in that shot (probably Winter's Grasp). Inferno just happened to be raging and I liked the pose and him silhouetted against the flames. Anders, Prince of Mayhem and Destruction.
Also, how ashamed should I be that I took away Spellfury so he could tote around Lamppost in Winter? I can imagine him protesting because Spellfury is obviously superior and my PC being all "But Lamppost in Winter is a double entendre and these things are important. Shut up."

What do you think?
(And yes, I'm not drawing because I'm playing, I'm terribly irresponsible person, but I miss in-game Anders.)

Interesting: when I'm trying to burn Amaranthine, Nate says "yes", Anders says "no", when I'm making a decision about killing/siding with the Baroness, Anders votes for her, Nate votes for Justice. Is this because she's a woman? Or because Anders hates to be trapped anywhere so much? Or he simply doesn't care about the people who are already dead? Like this: "They are dead, we're not yet, but if we kill the Baroness, we may stay trapped here forever, this sounds awful!"
What do you think?
I think it's the trapped thing. Anders really loves (his) freedom. Also, isn't the Baroness a sort of mage/sorceress herself? Maybe he's more sympathetic to her because of that.

Right? I knew that having a creepy, old-timey dancing cats print would come in useful someday! If he can't have an actual Pounce, he can have...creepy, old-timey dancing cats on his boxers.

Oh, and the Queen has finally bought him the Spellfury. Alistair will kill her for spending so much money on a guy who's not even her lover! But the staff is awesome.
Surely, your sim Anders is cute! The only thing I hate in sims is the size of their heads!
My sim Anders somehow managed to spare some time to flirt with Marina. It's so difficult for a doctor!

You'd think the fact that she's a blood mage who horribly abused her powers and is basically the worst nightmare of everyone who oppresses mages might make him a bit ticked at her for blatantly NOT HELPING.Also, isn't the Baroness a sort of mage/sorceress herself? Maybe he's more sympathetic to her because of that.

I think he's actually AFRAID of her, rather than anything else - he recognises that she's more powerful than he is and thinks they're probably not going to win the fight - leading to possible death or being trapped in the fade forever.
For some reason the bit where he gets upset about attacking the baroness always reminds me of Alistair meeting Shale: "Are you sure? It could be dangerous. And large." I love that line
