Avilia, lol )))

I've just finished the Broken Circle. There 2 apprentices on the 1st floor who talk about proving themselves by stopping the blight and one of them has Anders' voice. I think it's the same guy who set himself on fire in the Origin. :)

LupusYondergirl, I love your story! Besides everything else it has my favourite cute elven apprentice with kitty ears in it XD Hm, I guess I'm the only one here who haven't read your Maggie stories, now I think it's a crime, I must do it!

Thank you!  For what it's worth, I've been told they're a very fast read despite how long they are.

LupusYondergirl, I hope they are! I read remarkably slow XD

I'm currently playing Origins and I miss my Anders so much! All mages in my team just suck, even Rhiamon, my PC. All bosses are resistant to their control spells and I have to take Alistair with me to tank and dispell crushing prisons. Bosses never could resist Anders' control spells! Because he's irresistible!

And I also entertain myself trying to find characters voiced by Greg Ellis. Did you know that when you destroy the Circle, Cullen almost purrs in Anders' voice? It was so sweet how he wished me luck and all that. Sadly I had to reload the game because I hate to kill mages or send them to be tortured by Chantry zealots until they all confess they're maleficarum. Second favourite character is Felix, who sells Shale's control rod. He's so funny, giggles all the time and sounds like Anders who is pretending that he's not Anders. I like Felix, I'd love to take him to our camp instead of that greedy bastard Bodan.

Ah, I love Sandal. I think Rhia doesn't kick Bodan out only because she loves small and adorable creatures. :) I guess Bodan can stay. But I would rather trade with Felix. I love his prices! <3

And here I have a ridiculous picture of Anders. This is what happens when you re-spec him )))

I have real problems getting past Cullen without agreeing to help him.  I have to tell him that I want to keep him safe.  My problem is usually that my group kills Uldred too fast and I end up having to imprison the mages instead...erm, I mean.... :innocent:

See, I never agree to help him. I did once, for the achievement, and then went back to an old save. Even with my characters I play as loyalist I just can't see my mage slaughtering everyone they grew up with. And usually they're a bit disturbed by realizing how quickly he would want to kill them, too.

Plus, the mages are GREAT to have on the roof in the final battle.

The one time I annulled the Circle (and it was with a mage) I did the whole "let Irving die" thing. It worked as an rp for me since I chose to view the whole thing as a legitimate loss (and it made Alistair snapping when the mages couldn't help save Isolde a more satisfying roleplay moment as well).

And I have to admit, the templars are pretty badass. They were my regulars up until the palace district and none of them died. I normally have Redcliffe soldiers and lose at least twenty. I only ever use the mages for the beginning part at Fort Drakon.

I usually go for the dwarves almost all the way through, especially with the legion of the dead. Dalish outside fort drakon, and mages on the roof.

lol, in Rhiamon's case mages must make a statue of Leliana, because her puppy face had saved them all:

Wynne: Blah-blah-blah, we must save the Circle!

Rhia: Screw the Circle! I always hated this place!

Morrigan: Awesome! <3

Leliana: (puppy face) Please, you don't really want to kill the children and people you grew up with?

Rhia: Dammit! Alright, we will help you, Wynne.

Later with Cullen:

Cullen: Kill them all!

Rhiamon: Tempting. Will you date with me if I do so?

Cullen: I don't love you anymore, because all magic is evil!!!!!

Rhiamon: Then go to hell... I mean, sit here, I will save the Circle just to make you miserable!

I wonder what Anders would have said if he was in warden's shoes?

Wynne: We must save the Circle!

Anders: I don't know, do you really want to live in a place covered in blood and intestines? Eww.

Morrigan: I'll invite you into my tent if you destroy this pathetic Circle.

Amders: hmmm.

Leliana: (puppy face) Please?

Anders: sexy witch fights puppy face. Puppy face wins. Alright, let's save them all!

(later)

Cullen: Kill them all!

Anders: You bastard! You stole my voice! (covers his ears) I'm not listening to you! Ladies, let's move on, we have Uldred to kill.

It occurs to me that I didn't comment on this one yet.  So...  I was giggling.  And then I came to this line:

SurelyForth wrote...
And I did tell him that I like his boots…maybe that's a line in Antiva. Oh! Like "Nice boots! Wanna screw around?'"

And I freaking LOST MY MIND.  Seriously.

I remember when that was a line! (well, a far more crude version of that using bioware-unapproved words).  I remember when that was THE line.  At least, in some circles.

(did you post to alt.gothic back in the usenet days by any chance?)

Quoting myself since I edited this post to add all the prompt responses so far.

LupusYondergirl wrote...

OK... hm.
Since we were just talking about this not long ago, the prompt will be earring.
The one he has, the one you can give him, the story of how he ended up with a pierced ear, or anything else you can think of.

Let's say 1 hour time limit and a 1 week deadline? Or would sooner be better?

I don't really see the need to have a "winner" or prize or anything (and have no prize to award), since that's crazy subjective and I think most of us would rather participate than judge.
(but hey, if someone else wants to pick a winner and award something, go for it)

Edited to add: the responses so far.

I've come to the conclusion that everyone who looks like Alistair was another bastard of Maric's as, assuming Fiona wasn't Alistair's mother, he apparently could not keep it in his pants.

haha - listening to Cullen and Anders argue would paralize my PC's.

"No, No I can't decide - you two keep discussing it.  For another few days."

No alt.gothic although I know I stumbled over it online somewhere. Last week I was reliving my glory days and talking about how I used that line on a guy who was wearing the same red Chucks as me. It was fresh in my mind while I was filling the prompt, so it found its way in (I was going to change it to it's more direct version on ff.net, but decided I'd be meeting my **** quota for the week with my other story).

@ Gala, it's funny you should mention puppy face. Anders' puppy face is the reason I spared Amaranthine the first time. Basically my PC made this huge decision based solely on the fact that she really wanted to make out with Anders. That man has power.

Ok, so I'm back at home with a new baby and my brain has totally imploded. I had an inbox full of FF.net updates that I figured I'd read. Couldn't do it. Brain doesn't function well enough to read fiction. Brain not functioning well enough to read conversations. I think for the next couple of days I will be simply staring at pictures of Anders until the post-natal drift dissipates a bit.

I didn't manage to do the Anders prompt in hospy because it all happened too fast, however it will be the first thing I attempt to write! Should still be a bit weird and I might have to set it in the fade because that's where I am right now :).

Hey, Miri, welcome back! And congratulations! That was fast! In my country a mother and a child must spend at least 3 days at hospital even if they are well.

I'm so sad because of a new chapter of Undertow that I must draw a happy Anders tonight. Just can't wait to get back home.
