I'm curious what decision everyone made.

I personally thought I could have werewolves fight for me instead of the wuss elves. So i choose for the elf to end the curse and in return they all went back to human and didn't retain their werewolf form! damn!

what did you do and what happened with the decision you made?

I don't remember the exact choices I made back then, but I ended up killing the elves and keeping the werewolves as they were. (No pun intended)

A lot of times it only takes one "wrong" answer to mess up a whole lot of in game stuff, but that's why I'm so looking forward to playing through again once I've finished this first time through.

Same thing as you, ended the curse. But I kept another save where I just killed all the elves and got a werewolf army.

Elves are quite useless, at least on nightmare. Meatshields are more useful.

I played through all of the options. I knew from the start I would keep the Dalish (My PC is an Elf), but I was curious about the werewolf army thing. I decided in the end to cure the curse, since I had the h0ts for the spirit, and elves are very 'naturey' so it would be pretty rude to kill a spirit of the forest.

Also, by having the Dalish alive, I had another skill or stat book and bag on the Dalish merchant guy. My roommate who killed the werewolves, didn't have these, though it might also be because he stole from the Dalish and pissed them off.

Also, while I haven't beat the game yet, I did go with the mages for my army, and I am a range-heavy setup, so I didn't want to have werewolves run in and get fireball'd to death, and expect that the elves might be smart enough to use bows.

Besides, isn't it best to have all the major races come together and help save the world?

Next character will be a duelist/assassin rogue, definitely going werewolves then though.

I wiped out the warewolves - didn't bring the elf back to end the curse, just went in & told them it was time to die:) (very hard fight btw).

So, the werewolves actually join your army if you wipe out the elves? That's freaking awesome. I was planning on taking that route next play through anyway, but that's an added bonus.

What happens, as far as your army is concered, if you end the curse? Do you just get the elves or are your human numbers boosted or anything? anyone know?

I convinced the keeper to break the curse, then I killed all the humans.

If you end the curse you get the elves without their leader. Not sure how this is better then just killing the werewolves or elves. Maybe there is something I don't know about. What I want to know is how to get the treants to rally!?

Hah. Yeah, the treants. That would be fun.

I just cured the werewolves, and got me some Dalish Elves with me. I wish there was an option to get the Lady of the Forest-people.
