Captain's dress uniform; why hide? Cerberus isn't a banned organization, just one suspected of criminal offenses - like all the merc bands you find everywhere. Besides - how many people even know the Cerberus logo? Shepard doesn't recognize it when you see it a dozen times on Lazarus Station before meeting Jacob, and you've put a half-dozen failed experiments in the Destroyed & Deniable folder. Shepard's the commanding officer on the SR-2, a Cerberus vessel - she wears her authority openly.
Edit: And Cerberus gave me a whole new respect for black & white color schemes.

Unless she's headed down to the main battery, in which case we duck upstairs first to change into Kasumi's little gift. He's going to get the hint eventually...

unless he's still calibrating the guns.
I wear the formal now that I got Kasumi's DLC

Small bump, let's see if this thread has any more potential.

Isn't there only 4 different outfits in this order?

Common Cerberus crewmember clothes
Cerberus captain clothes
Cerberus scientist clothes
Douchebag idiot clothes

I just settle, and I mean  settle, with the short sleeved Cerberus uniform

I wish they would have included, in one of their appearance/armor packs, a "reskin" of it in a "generic" color variation (like some of the NPCs have) for the players who aren't pro-Cerberus, instead of that ridiculas "space biker" outfit

I don't use the formal wear because it just doesn't look right to run around the ship in it IMHO

as you can tell, I play on the 360 Posted Image (not a very good mouse & keyboard player with real time combat games Posted Image)
and it sucks to see what the PC users can do with customazion Posted Image

As femShep I normally wear the casuals.

But I always put Sheploo in the captain's outfit... I just like looking at him in it... cuz... damn.

In just Mass Effect 2, yes. But the Kasumi DLC allows you to get a fifth "formal wear" outfit, which you can wear on your ship afterwards. MaleSheps get a Japanese-ish space tuxedo, while FemSheps get a nice little dress:

Yeah, I think the only person in the game who actually recognizes the Cerberus logo is Jack (and with good reason, I imagine).

I'm anti-Cerberus but I have no problem wearing the logo. I find it stylish and distinctive, actually.

It would be different if everywhere I went people pointed at it like I was branded with the scarlet letter or something, but no one acknowledges it. It's just a fashion accent.

The rogue outfit looks so wonderfully out of place on the Normandy. Hopefully it bothers Miranda and TIMmy that my Shepards don't wear Cerberus uniforms.
