Another question.... I was surprised that I was able to convince Alistair to marry me to rule jointly. I am not in a relationship with Alistair, I in fact dumped him as I am in a relationship with Leliana. So obviously this is a marriage for political reasons. So my question is this: Does Leliana get upset at this? Or does she not care?

Is she hardened?

Ok, so I just finished Landsmeet. I spared Loghain and Alistair got P.O.-ed and left the party but decided to marry Anora and be king as expected.

What I thought was a little lame is he is MIA now. It was Anora who comes in and talks to me after Landsmeet, it is she who gives the speeches to rally the troops and it is she in Eamon's castle when the decision is made to march to Denerim. Where the f**k is the king? Obviously sulking and doing nothing after telling me in our last conversation that he won't stand by and watch her lead. That was kinda disappointing. OK, Alistair is pissed but he should still be doing his job as king

You'll see him at post-coronation.

nope. But so far when I talk to her, there is no additional dialogue that shows her displeasure.

Yeah I guess so. But right now it is Anora doing all the leading while he takes time to sulk

Ironic that an unhardened Alistair who marries Anora will take the lead in the beginning while a hardended Alistair who marries Anora will let Anora take command from the start (if Loghain lives that is).

Leliana should talk to you if you're marrying Alistair -- if she doesn't, there's something weird going on with your game. In the vanilla game she's bugged and will break up with a warden she's not romancing -- I fixed that in ZDF (I also fixed it so it's not an auto-breakup -- if she's hardened she's ok with it).

Yah he seemed a little bummed when I got there with my Mage, not for my sparing Loghain but not on being a Warden anymore.

Actually the game where I proposed to marrying Alistair I didn't save it. I did it for because I was curious to see what Leliana would say and I only talked to her once. So I probably didn't give her a chance to being it up before I restored the game.

So I finished the game with two endings. First one I let Loghain kill the archdemon. Alistair was around and my conversation was pretty much ok with him. He seemed to be getting over it but was still not so warm to me. The second ending I killed the archdemon. In that ending Alistair did not say a word in the ending. Anora gave the speech at my funeral. Thanks a lot Alistair. I can't believe you let Anora speak over you.



I also found it interesting that if Alistair and Anora agree to marry, if Loghain is spared at landsmeet, only Anora is at the ceremony where she is crowned. When Loghain is not spared at landsmeet, you see both Alistair and Anora go get crowned together.

Did you talk to her back at the camp or in Eamon's estate? I believe you have to be in the camp to get her broken up speech. Unless she's hardened, she will end the relationship if you marry Alistair, even if it's only a political marriage. A hardened Leliana on the other hand will accept to stay as your mistress.

Weird in my game, I spared Loghain and both Alistair and Anora were crowned toghther. Ah well who knowshow the mysterious world of bugs works

Edit: Thinking about it, it actually won't trigger in Arl Eamon's Denerim estate.  It should trigger anywhere else, though.
