Written by the same person who wrote:

3:25 Towers--The surface kingdoms declare victory. The horde is crushed, the push halted, and celebrations begin as humans thank the skies and their Maker. Beneath their gaze and their feet, the darkspawn retreat to the steps of our thaigs. New front lines are drawn across old. They settle in to breed, the Memories say, as happened twice before, and likely in the darkness before that.

600 years earlier. It was written retrospectively, it doesn't mean they knew there was an archdemon awake at the time. And say they blight didn't originate so close to Orzammar, somewhere there is no Dwarvern presence in the deep roads, they'd have no warning at all.

Would it seem defeatist if I just conceded? I've put up a fight but it's 2:30am here and I'm quite tired.

Three things:

While I dont agree with how the wardens get, train, and maintain troops they are needed. If I where to be told the situation before hand maybe I wouldnt join, but you can bet someone about to be hanged would take a chance to get out. Wynne and Alistair have such funny views about what a warden is. Try taking them along playing an orthodox warden.

The charachters in ME are so flat and shallow compared to DA. Although Mordin and Legion are extremely well written and voiced. TIM also gets points, still a b-******, but Martin Sheen was good.

Finally Paragade is the way to play, be a nice person, save some lives, and annihlate your foes. Best way to play all around, and not doing about 80% of the renegade interupts just dosent make sense.

I prefer a female renegon myself, a hard cold calculating person who every now and then shows a softer side they try to hide from the world and being a Colonist / Ruthless helps.

Also I need more cowbell er Leliana.

Be a nice guy, but make sure to headbutt Uvenk because he asks for it. Anyway it's much too late for this, I'm off.

Yep, that's how I play. A balanced Shepard, with slightly more paragon points just because I am polite.

Both extremes at their maximum are sort of ridiculous. Then again, I consider al extremes to be ridiculous in some fashion or another.

Even my paragon does the headbutt.

HEADBUTT!

Uvenk: YOU DARE!

Shaman: HA! I like this human he understands!

I just cant play meanly to my crew or most people. When I have to though I go crazy and leave no survivors. Sorta like James Bond if you watch him, speciffically the Shawn Connery Bond. He is charming and heroic to many people, but get in his way and you die. I like playing Space Bond.

I dont play exactly like him, since he is rather abrupt with women.

My favourite Shep has a mix of Jack O' Neil, James Bond( Connery Vintage), Malcom Reynolds, and Me. Come out a little more renegade than I would like, but still is fun.

@ Adneate. I never thought I would say this, but I really wouldn't want to be a Reaper right now.

So now it's off to pics of Leliana in a bikini, which somehow seems more on-topic? lol

Yeah that design works so well with the renegade responses I really don't know if I can out do her, she's just so freaking cool all the damn time.

Oh I don't have any. I'm surprised no one's thought of it, though, considering it is summer in a majority of the populated world

Tali's my least favorite ME LI after Miranda. I only use that avatar to troll the tali thread.

edit: I should point out, I think tali as a character is great. She just insn't LI material. At all.

Its funny that in ME2 with all the hot buns and bewbies perfect people, that more people go for a girl in an enviro suit, a space raptor, and a lizard with memory problems. Looks like gamers go beyond looks. Or not today is not for optimisim. Although the queen waved at my sisters while in Winnipeg so not everything is sad I guess.

Also I found a problem that was keeping me from getting emails... wished I was able to know that sooner since I was 90% of the way to Tali before getting Ash's email.
