I thought Leliana wouldn't like me at first. My first character was a mage and the chantry generally disapproves of them. She looked past that, never blamed me for the burning of Andraste or the blackening of the golden city. Admittedly, there was an initial attraction to Morrigan as well, but Leliana was the first love interest I finished a game with.



Also, I read through all 111 pages. Now I shall either pass out or find more caffeine.

Yea, Leliana's spiritual nature doesn't make her look down upon mages, Dalish elves or Dwarves. I really like this about her, even if I sometimes raise an eyebrow at her supposed vision. But hey at least she isn't harming anyone based on them.

Good that you guys got on topic, cause the past 3 or 4 pages were about Mass effect Anyways Speaking about on-topic,I bring up an argument.
I think Leliana is better the way she is in the original game, not the modded way

My favorite is when she's hardened and Alistair asks her about bard in Orlais. The part where she ends up saying "To die in the company of a lovely seductress. Tell me that isn't a good death?".



Also, hardened Leliana's banter with Zevran is great, especially when she asks him to prove if rumours about elves are true.



I also love her comment about a windmill in Redcliffe for some reason.

Speaking about hardened and Unhardened Leliana, I haven't romanced her hardened, so I don't know which one do I like more, but I think I like her unhardened. Which Leliana do you guys prefer?

Get the Zevran Dialouge Fix it repairs her Dialouge and you get a different decleration of love. I perfer the unhardened Leliana myself.

On my only finished playthrough when I hardened her all that changed was the post coronation, I'd already gone through most of the romance dialogue before I got the "Do you remember our discussion?" but, of what changed, I prefer her hardened. I'd thought hardening her would turn her evil, probably why it took me so long to try it, but it just makes her more adventurous, which I quite liked.

I'm still on my first playthrough, but I got the chance to harden Leliana and I believe it's the way to open her up. You know why she ran away and that she enjoyed the intrigues and espionage, why hide from it now? She is no more the pawn of politicians but she can still be that adventurous person she used to be. Plus during "You remember our discussion" dialogue you can lead her to declare her love for your Warden (I tried the non-hardened version and there was no such an option). So yes, Leliana won't become evil or cold-hearted b!tch, she just show us her true self, because there is always something about her that tells you she is not as innocent as she appears. The changes are minor, but you get extra dialogue, so I'd say hardened Leli wins.

Besides I heard she will wear her sexy leather outfit if hardened and I prefer it to Chantry robes. ;-)

What do you mean "you get a different decleration of love"?
Also, I don't know I might try her hardened then, I thought too that well, she would be pretty evil-like if i hardened her. And am I right that she changes her perspective of things in another direction if you harden her? for example, she doesn't care about the maker anymore as much etc? Hmm

Hardened Leliana is an adventurous bard. Unhardened one is a chantry sister.



Personally, I always harden her because I find her life as a bard fascinating and feel that this is her true self.

She is my favorite character in DA:O. I always try to be nice to people and she always approves that. Her voice is good and she's cute.

I tried. At least it is not as long or as fast moving as the Tali threads I used to haunt. As much as I like those two characters, the fans can get a little odd. Still, thank you all for the welcome.

I thought the ninja romance was a bug where you could get romance specific dialogue during the "Are you feeling better about what happened" conversation that would inadvertently cause Leliana to declare her love for the warden.

After multiple playthrough where I romance Leli, or am just good friend with her, I gotta say that I prefer her hardened, whether I play a morally questionable character, or an heroic one.  To me, she just seem much more aware hardened than unhardened.  She still has her faith in the Maker, but she also aknowledge who she was before, and admit to herself that she like adventures.  I always feel the unhardened Leliana lies to herself about her past and bury herself with unjustified guilt over what she's done.

Does hardening Leliana vary anything but her dialouge after her side quest? I've just done it (I Was lucky since I had a save just before you talk to/fight Marjolaine) I did it and later in camp selected the right options to harden Leliana. So From what I've seen she has some more dialogue, which I liked a lot. However, during my current playthrough I didn't harden her, and I have almost finished that playthrough, what I'm trying to say is, that is it worth hardening Leli and then having a new playthrough? I'm wondering this since I think that Leliana might have some more dialogue during the game, and in the ending, oh and of course maybe a different epilogue. I enjoy playing the game so I have no problem of playing it again, but it would save a great deal of time for me if you guys would give your opinion on it and explain what I asked.

Liara is an alien love interest from Mass Effect. Her entire species is female and the romance option is open to either gender.

Do it. Leliana is worth another playthrough and her hardened version is much better IMO and it brings extra piece of dialogue indeed. :-)
