If she was lucky there might have been enough left to leave a big stain on the roof and a burn mark on the floor.

I couldn't bring myself to kill Marjolaine. I don't want my Warden or Leliana to turn into avengeful b!tches. Marjolaine didn't attack us and my Cousland has a sense of honor in her not to kill an unarmed woman. Besides I am really looking forward to DA:O 2 and see what Devs will do to her.
But she did attack us. The only reason we have to seek her out in the first place is because she sends a large group of assassins to kill Leliana and whoever travels with her.
It's your choice to make, obviously, but vengeance is not the only reason why one would choose to kill Marjolaine.
Edited for correct spelling.

Ok, I am a chicken, I admit that. I let go most of my enemies if the option is there.

I'm both very excited and disappointed.
Think like a general and fight like a Spartan with dynamic new combat
mechanics that put you right in the heart of battle whether you are a
mage, rogue, or warrior.
No doubt the game's just been mainstream'd. Fantastic

Well it was far too PC game like (which is to say good and interesting) in Origins it's time we console this puppy up. Prepare for Hawke! A character with no choice in background (It's Kirkwall or Kirkwall), no choice in race (that's right you HAVE to be human this time around) and is fully voiced like Cmdr. Shepard.

What a bunch of pessimists you are, guys. You spray yourselves with water while you wait for a rainy cloud.
Until they prove otherwise, Im assuming its gone the way of Mass Effect 2.

I hope it's the last we see of her, not because I don't like her but because she and The Warden have one of the better endings in DA and I'd hate to see it screwed up. Besides Leliana VA said BioWare was done with her after Leliana's Song.

“With Dragon Age 2 we are creating an exciting new entry point into the Dragon Age universe while ensuring that fans of the original game retain a sense of satisfaction and familiarity in the world,” said Dragon Age 2 Executive Producer Mark Darrah. “We are amplifying the things that made Dragon Age: Origins such a huge success while introducing a more dynamic combat system, improving the graphics, and telling the most important story in our world.”
sounds like we won't be left hanging....
"Dragon Age 2 thrusts players into the role of Hawke, a penniless refugee who rises to power to become the single most important character in the world of Dragon Age. Known to be a survivor of the Blight and the Champion of Kirkwall, the legend around Hawke’s rise to power is shrouded in myth and rumor. Featuring an all-new story spanning 10 years, players will help tell that tale by making tough moral choices, gathering the deadliest of allies, amassing fame and fortune, and sealing their place in history. The way you play will write the story of how the world is changed forever."
So we had the "Origins" roughly 1month time in the story... now we have one coming that spans 10 years! looks like we had a beginning... getting the middle.. so a 3rd for the end (maybe?)... and I bet that one will be magnificent.
That's the end of my speculation.... until it comes out I have alot of Origins to play

Seriously?!
Damn them!!
And here I was thinking how nice it would be to have Corinne Kempa voice another Da character.

Stripped of all its RPG elements and made into a mindless shooter/hack and slash.
edit: with a dialogue tree.
