Did anyone else get the idea from Leliana's song... that Leliana might have felt partially inspired to join the chantry because she found Andraste beautiful? Obviously that's not the only reason but when she was looking at that statue I couldn't help but giggle a little bit.

I just finished Lelianas Song and one thing I would like to say is that the music was awesome. It really had this kind of swashbuckling tone to it. Very well done.

Indeed, the first part of the mission has a really catchy almost jazz type of feel to it. It sets it apart from the rest of the classical DA score, which is nice. The change later as the mission goes on is also very good.

I really like the music that plays when you bed Leli. It adds emotion to it.

Having just played through the bit where Leliana and the Warden confront Majorlaine again, I'm now convinced that the story she tells in "Leliana's Song" is a load of bunk. Enjoyable bunk, but bunk nevertheless. It's pretty damn implicit that the two haven't seen each other since Marjorlaine's betrayal, and that Leliana fled from Orlais to Ferelden.



While I could imagine why she'd lie to the Warden, I can't imagine (an IU reason) why both Leliana and Marjorlaine would treat ther Origins story as if it were true if it were, in fact, false.

I saw a rumor that Thedas stands for The dragon age setting.  If true, it would make a Thedas gush thread all the lamer.

You would be right on both counts, is was being Facetious and Thedas does stand for The Dragon Age Setting.

If I ever write a fanfic, I don't know if I should use the Origins or Leli's song as the correct source to refer to. I know that bards embellish and all that, but there are too many differences really between Origins and her Song. In Origins, when you enter Howe's dungeon, Leli should make mention of it, since she was imprisoned there for example.



I guess I'm going to take it that Origins was authorative on her history. Sketch and Tug are out the picture then. I tend to believe it when Majolaine betrays Leli though, that part is probably exactly how it happened back in Orlais.

I don't think she made up Sketch and Tug's existence just because she may have changed the details of her story.

Maybe... Leli's Song is not the end of the tale, where were the Olesian guards.. this was in Ferelden no?

People are reading way too much into it, the reason it's in Ferelden and they pulled the whole "It's a Bard's Tale" is simple, they didn't have the money to both hire Corrine Kempa and create new environments in a $7 DLC. The fundamentals of the story are the same, it actually took place in Orlais however they stuck it in Ferelden for the sake of convenience.

Since helmets arent on in convos I dont really care that much is mainly why. Also outside the Mages "hats" i dont mind most of them that much.

Besides when I am traveling Im not looking at Leliana's head, mate.
