On the PC Dragon Age actually comes with a screenshot utility I just rebinded the key to F12 and use that to take screenshots in the game, some people use FRAPS instead but I prefer to have the screenshots in JPEG format instead of the very large BMP format. Other than that it's a simple matter of hitting the spacebar to pause the game and rotating the camera to get a clean shot, oh also hitting V to turn the interface off. Then I just open it the GIMP 2.0 crop it to what I want and stick it on a photo hosting service, the end result is something like this:

Usually that can be fixed by just going into the Options menu and rebinding the key to F12 instead of Prt Scr.

I'm not a very stylized writer ora  very imaginative one so I don't really know what to say in response to this since I've never really thought about it. So I guess much like myself in real life, they'd just do whatever she wanted to do.

I modded the devout armor so that it matches her hair instead of the modded hair color.

That's pretty cool. Do you use GIMP to edit .dds files or Photoshop? I use GIMP with the dds plug-in myself but I'm curious as to what other people use.

My mage would put on a fireworks/ light show with assorted primal spells:wizard:, make snow cones and use sleep on the rest of the group so we could have some alone time. In the morning, before she wakes up, he turns into a spider... for the lulz.

My main male Mage would also use his power to put on a bit of a display show, to make her smile. After all, magic isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. If they are in a city, he would try to find the best possible restaurant or whatever they are called in Thedas, take her there and wine and dine her. Out in the country, it would be a walk under the stars and maybe a swim.



For my female Mage, it would probably also be a dinner night out, or a steamy love session far away from anyone (my female mage is a bit sex crazy lol). If such a thing as theatre exists in Ferelden, they would also go to that often.

I would like to listen to her play and sing, and I could play for her as well I don't think she would like me singing back though lol! She seems to enjoy music as much as I do, so I bet it would be fun. I would also be the first mage to learn the spell "Conjure Carmel Pudding".:innocent:

Ok, on a night out at a "restaurant", what do you think Leli would go for? I'm thinking she wouldn't be picky, simple, plain and wholesome is more her style. I do imagine she would like desert and sweet things though, from all her years in Orlais.



Honestly, if ever there was a reason for my Wardens to really learn how to cook proper meals, it would be to please and surprise Leli with a romantic home cooked meal along with a bubble bath of some kind. In my view, they have settled down with Leli after a few years, a nice house and a domestic life.

The photoshop nvidia plugin. I got a darker orange color, made a new layer, then used the paintbrush tool to paint over the red, then I turned the transparency to 66% or something.

If anyone wants the modified files, let me know. I really like how it turned out.

No Gate Kiss, since I took her with me.






It looks worse than it is, had help from a witch.


I think Pink suits her.


I have to say after Leliana's Song and playing through with Riona I sorta prefer unchanged Leliana a bit more than the hardened version of her.

Hardened: She accepts that she loves the bardic life, and shouldnt deny who she is.



For the first you tell her to change, for the second you make her realize who she really is and tell her to accept it.



Very deep. All you do to Ali is tell him to grow a quad.

 Two quibbles: 1) Leliana does not go back to being a bard if you harden her. 2) You can still romance a hardened Leliana and not romance an unhardened one so what does leaving her unhardened have to do with her going into the Warden's arms?

Indeed, it's always a difficult choice with Leliana. With Alistair it's just good advice plain and simple, grow a backbone and stick up for yourself and whine less. Though for whatever reason my Riona playthrough didn't harden him, it's some stupid bug or something where a female Warden can't harden him without being in a romance with him and I usually do a the quick flirt and break up just to get past it but this time I forgot so yeah . . . the Landsmeet sorta went south.

I did say it was a quibble and not 'OMG, I am so terribly offended by what you said! How dare you!' And Leliana, if you do not romance her, goes back to Orlais no matter what if Marjolaine's alive. I think that if you do romance her and die then going back to Orlais is still better than her committing suicide.

Just Alistair, betrayed Anora in the final hour. Then didn't help Alistair since politics didn't seem to fit well with Riona, so in the end she just left. Did not ask for boon, did not return to Highever just packed up and left. I guess she felt guilty cause somehow she ended up in Amaranthine as the Arlessa and Commander of the Grey, though it's a temporary position and she's very disinterested.



Though I just wanted to use the super overpowered Archery powers in Awakening, all triple digit damage numbers all the time. Nightmare is at best Normal with these busted ass talents.

I'd like to think Riona is much more elegantly spoken than say Gollum. I imagine it would be more polite phrases with palatable disinterest and boredom, followed by an urgency to get the hell out of town before the other Grey Wardens showed up.

I can't believe that nobody even mentions that you killed and Archdemon and somehow lived in Awakening, then again that expansion feels rushed all around. One more oversight or missed opprotunity among many I guess.

Nathaniel, Sigrun, Anders, and Justice make some good points though.



Although its a chore to get PC;s through it.



Play as a 2H/Berserker.Templar/Spirit Warrior and there isint a hard fight in the game.

Yeah tell me about Riona is death incarnate in Awakening, a critical hit (and she gets a lot of them) does about 200 damage and she does close to 1000 with the Arrow of Slaying. Scattershot stuns whole mobs for about 4 seconds which is long enough to fire a Burst Shot which kills everyone in the blast radius instantly. With a Defense rating over 125 she's also really really hard to hit so pretty much only mages can be dangerous but they're still not enough since they can't take more than 3 or 4 hits from Riona's bow.

Poor Doraleous was mowing people down so fast it wasent hard.



I just ignored so much damage, could take so much damage, was almost impossible to hit as a Spirit Warrior, and could do about 180 damage a swing at the bottom end.



And he would trade it all just to have Leliana in Awakening. God I must have read that letter 100 times! Much better than in ME2 after Horizon.
