The way a charachter looks and sounds, is what makes them. After so many run throughs I can not change any of my companions, it would just be wierd.

So what do you think they're going to do for DA:2? Bring back the characters again or mix everything up? My canon game experience was really made by fighting alongside Leliana. When I eventually get Awakening, it just isn't going to feel right.

I don't think we'll be seeing the old companions again tbh, besides maybe Morrigan.  Leliana is supposedly getting her own DLC add on according to Corine Kempa, so I guess there's more Leli-loving on the way at least.

Hmm, well as long as they're in the game somewhere and the Warden can continue his relationship with her, I suppose that'll be good enough. And there's always the mods...

Good point. If that's the case, then I would be more than OK with a new cast. I pretty much stick to the ME2 portion of the forum, so I'm a little clueless to any DA news( I played through the game a few months ago, but am only now really discovering how amazing it is), but does anyone know if BioWare is going to be at E3?

The only thing I know that will be Bioware at E3 will be The Old Republic, but they will be under Lucas Arts.
The only rumored news about other stuff is what the new expansion for DA will be, and the Overlord DLC.

Besides that I got nothing.

Two reasons.
1. They have you die in the Joining even though that's the kind of fail logic that made people obsessively try to save Mhairi. You are capable of surviving the Joining so why not have Cailan only send Alistair to light the beacon or have none of them make it to Duncan?

Possibly but usualy Bioware has more than a year of forwarning about games or sequels. While awakening only had a few months of hype.

None of the Morrigan thread would do that, they are cool people, none of the Zevran thread would do it either. Probably the Alistair thread, they are still miffed that Alistair and Leliana hooked up in TDSC DLC.

Glancing quickly through this thread, it looks like every has changed Leliana. While the choice is yours, obviously, don't you feel like you're changing who she is? I changed her for a day using the DA redesigned version 11 model, but changed it back after about a day. She's beautiful the way she is, and it just feels wrong changing her into something she's not.

And I am aware that most of the alt morphs are based off of the sacred ashes trailer, but even then, the characters from that are based off of real life models, not what BioWare intended.

Eh, I do agree to an extent, but I generally don't mind SA based morphs.  I actually prefer Morrigan and the rest of the party unmodded.  I had kept Leliana unmodded as well until I saw Yuki's morph.  In the end, I think, so long as the morph still captures the essence of the character it's no big deal. 

Turning Leli into a platinum blonde or something would be... weird...
Also who downrated our thread?!   What?  does that mean exactly?

Haters gonna hate I guess, every charachter gets hate and Love. The Alistairites seem to be the only group who are dont like her overmuch,

Every time I romanced Zevran, he had a different look. It was just a way to keep the game from getting stale. Unless someone breaks into my house and plays on my computer, I don't really care what people do with the characters in their games.



Leliana is very pretty in her original model, but I've played with her on friend-status so many times that it helps to have a mod to get me to stop going through the motions and pay more attention to this "new" person in my party.

@Giggles -- I don't think it means anything. I have often missed the mark when I tried to click on a page number, but ended up clicking on the stars right underneath it, sometimes downrating it or overrating it. It's even worse when I'm trying to read from a tiny laptop and using the touchpad to move the cursor around.
