Killing her is always good times, after the DLC it's just that much better.

I agree though I'm still unsure on hardened or unhardened. Right now I'd say I'm 60-40 in favor of unhardened, but I truly do think she is happier on the road adventuring than the quiet life, but I think the quiet life is better for her she has seen enough adventure I think and needs to settle down and have some quietness in her life.

The way I feel about it is similar, I don't think I'd harden her if my Warden wasn't romancing her since I feel she'd want someone with her if she's going to take up the life of a travelling adventurer. However if my Warden is romancing her I'm 60-40 as well unless my Warden is a bit mischievous then it might be better to harden her so they both are on the same page. I like both Leliana's but unchanged has a bit of an edge after Leliana's song since she's clearly interested in a bit of peace and normalcy in her life.

Ah yes, the peace and normality of moving back to Orlais to deal with Marjolaine or leading up an expedition to Haven of all places.

Well I always killed Marjolaine so she won't be doing that on my watch and also I wiped out every living thing in Haven plus the Chantry has Templars that will go along. Though I was specifically referring to Warden's in an active romance with her so she wouldn't be doing those things anyway.

That's a very good question, I'm not at my Desktop so I can't fire up the toolset and check but I think she stays in Denerim maybe as a composer or a figure in the Ferelden Court I don't really remember. I think I had those conditions as an ending like the second time I ever played the game so it's really fuzzy to say the least.

Completely OT query: Does anyone have the dialogue (or better yet a video) handy for a hardened, romanced Leliana when you intimidate her while defiling the sacred ashes?

Nope, I've never even defiled the sacred ashes once in the game.

I did it once to unlock Reaver (which was so crappy I never bothered playing one) but Leli was unhardened so I had to axe her before I reloaded!

Defiling the ashes just reminds me of when the Taliban blew up all those ancient Buddhist statues in Afghanistan, for no other reason than they thought Allah would really dig it. It just seems so pointlessly stupid and wrong I can't bring myself to do it, I cheated to get the crappy Reaver spec.

I think she stays in court at Denerim for a time, but don't hold me up to that.

This is what the toolset says, if unhardened the ashes are not found, Marjolaine is dead and she wasn't romanced by the player who died in the final battle.

Leliana remained at court for a time, penning a ballad dedicated to ____ one that would eventually become known throughout Thedas. But after one performance at the palace, Leliana quietly vanished. Some say she returned to Orlais, but it is not known for certain.

Probably the latter but we'll never know apparently, she just sorta leaves one day any nobody knows where she goes.

I sense a rip in the time-space continuim and a spilling over of AU stuff. That does explain DSC though.

Well it's AU for all of my playthroughs as I've never played a game where she is unhardened, the Chantry doesn't know about the Ashes, AND she's not romanced.

So we are all talking to each other through different dimensions of DA, yet existing in the same RL dimension? Ouch, now that is a twist.

Well I've been playing some more of my Noble Sibylla, must say Two-Hand is pretty fun I usually only go for very involved micromanagement heavy characters but I'm enjoying the slightly slower paced Warrior. Plus forced death blows makes killing things with big swords really cool.

If you believe Leliana right away she's really happy


The better Gore mod is really cool.

Two Handed is fun since you cant be stunned or knocked down.



You just have to use your attacks, and never just auto attack.



Also TMP makes our game better.

Well.. I believe I figured out what broke my game.. I got to trigger happy with the skill book and my PC's were way over stats! (statted?) any ways.. not making that mistake again.. so had to start most all over..



It was a little strange as Leliana's Song re downloaded..

Just for the record Zeleen the character gets 4 attribute points from books, 4 skill points from books and 3 talents/spells from books. I noticed that some of your characters had stats well in excess of 50 while being below level 7, going above those limits really busts the game and makes it so easy that there isn't really any point in playing it since nothing can put you down.

Yep!  Newbie mistake!!  It was the Skill tome mod...   really BAD mistake..  I was thinking to get through the game in less than 80 hours..
