Charsen's gate kiss mod, while STUPENDOUS!



Does have some issues, namely that other npcs can get in the way, and that outside of the Warden and LI everyone else is wearing teh hats.

A few more shots from me. These were taken just before Roxanne kissed Leli for the first time. One of the mods I've installed changed the first kiss to be quite a bit more passionate than the default. I think it's the Passionate Kiss Mod. My timing with the screenshots was a little off. The other thing that bugs me is that their eyes appear to be open for most of the kiss. Oh well, nothing is perfect.

So I'm wondering... Did anyone consider making a Leliana wallpaper??

I've been working on one myself lately, but my Photoshop skills aren't... as good as they used to be... And they're only for screens with that have an aspect ratio of 16:9 (for example, a 1920 x 1080 screen) plus it exists out of fan-made art.

That's not a bad idea to be honest. What I've done is make a rotating background in Windows 7 with all the DA screenshots. Most of the Leli ones are randomly spaced, so I'm always suprised when one with her does come on.

As I continue this play through, I intend to take quite a lot more screenshots of her. It's about all I can do, as I can't draw to save my life lol.

What I did was grab some Leliana pictures from a deviantart-link I found at the beginning of this thread (six pictures in total). Then I moved them around, trying to make it fit, by simply copying, transforming and pasting in Photoshop. It... isn't that nice, but it is better than nothing. I'm going to change a lot to it anyway.
Sadly, I cannot see a way to convert it succesfully into a background with an aspect ratio of 4:3 (or better said, monitors that have a screen that's shaped like a square)...

Still debating with myself if I should keep on working it, or if I just should "release" it. I think I'm going to post the first version of it later on.

I'm curious if other people have wallpapers featuring Leliana...

I think this would work for a widescreen monitor, might need a bit of stretch to get it to fit super high resolutions but it should be alright.

I'm going to need some tips on how I can improve my wallpaper... (Technically (or maybe "in my opinion), I don't think that it can be called a "real" wallpaper... I'm planning to make changes, provided I'll EVER do that.) 



Not my best work. Didn't put much effort in it. Hence, I'm not proud of it... unless people think it is good enough. But I highly doubt it. You don't have to tell me that a three year old can do this, too. I knew that already since the moment I've created it.

Therefore, this is just a basic wallpaper IMO.

So far, I am (or was) going to try to do the following:
1) Putting all the darker images to the left and the lighter ones to the right.
2) Make it "fit", of course
3) Find some more fan-art that might be useable, so that it looks... better...
4) ???
5) PROFIT!

(Okay, 4 and 5 didn't make any sense.)

So if you have any suggestions, I'll be happy to hear them. And if you have other images that might be interesting to put in this collection of images, please let me know. (Well, I think that I'm going to make multiple wallpapers like this, with a variety of images - from in-game footage to fan-art. Then, I'll just upload 'em here.)
Don't tell me to Google Leliana. I'm not a huge fan of "norp", if you want to know. (Don't ask me what "norp" means. Just mess with the letters a bit and you'll find out...)

Nice screenshots above, if you want I can PM you a lot of Leliana caps, from my game if you want. Although she is vanilla leliana in all of them.

Well, I leave that choice up to you.  I'd prefer if you would send me the pictures, though.

At any rate, I really would like to take a look at 'em. Maybe I can get a few nice shots and make a new wallpaper out of them.

I'm also a bit curious what the opinions of the others would be on what I've created...

I like her vanilla or with the mod I have, but I have also seen some really drastic mods that totally mess with "who" Leli is.



I don't think that Leli or the Warden's story is over by any means, at least not from my point of view. While BioWare may be focussed on DA2 and the rest of Thedas, I like to role play and imagine that my Warden and Leli are still out there, adventuring together. I like my happy endings lol.

Well thankfully Leliana's romance has one of the most positive endings in Awakening, so you're not hanging like those who romanced Morrigan are.

I never finished Awakening, simply because I didn't like the game. (I don't like the companions. In fact, I despise some them.) So I don't have a clue what the epilogue says.

However, since I found this mod that adds four Origins companions (including Leliana) to the game (you can't take them with you though, some things are a bit buggy, and they aren't voiced - but that only makes sense), I started playing Awakening again.

Familiarity is a large part of that, after a certain point a look becomes ingrained and you can't change it.

I had done more than 4 complete runs by the time (three with Leli as the LI) so I was use to her normal face, and the mods just freaked me out.
