I could package up a UTC file for you if you really want her as a Mage . . . so long as you put it in the override folder before you meet her in Lothering (even outside the tavern will work) she'll be a mage with some basic gear.

I play as a rogue myself, so I don't mind her not being a rogue. 

Besides, I hate both Morrigan and Wynne. But having a mage in my party is always good.

So I do have some interest in that .utc file...

As I work my way through the game with Roxanne, my female mage in my profile, I keep finding new snippets of dialog with Leli, options I hadn't noticed the first time I played. My next characters are going for Alistair and Zevran, so it will be interesting to see what extra dialog crops up.



Truly, Corinne Kempa is one of the 2 best voices I've ever heard, my other crush being Ash in ME. I think Leli and my Wardens are very happy together, DR or not.

A modded Leliana UTC file and with Wynne's Auto-Level GDA, Leliana should be a Mage with the Spirit Healer specilization who will auto-level like Wynne does. After you recruit her she will function just like any other Mage party member, and you can use the respec mod on her if you don't like the initial stats, she will sill be a Mage after drinking the potion.

A few other questions...

This mods basically changes Leliana into a mage... But what happens if you remove the file from the override folder (I suppose that is where the .utc file goes) and open a save file that has Leliana as a mage? And what will happen to the save files in which Leliana is a rogue?

And uhh... When is the .utc file available for download...?

Should be up now in the files section, its a .rar file with the two necessary components in there the .UTC and the .GDA pasting that link I posted above will take you to my project where I have the file. It's called Leliana Mage.rar

If you turn her into a mage then remove the file she will in that save remain a mage, in another save if she's a rogue having that file will not then turn her into a Mage. Once an instance of Leliana is loaded it cannot be changed with a UTC file, you have to have NOT met her in order for any modded UTC file to take effect since the game has to load it when creating the Leliana party member.

Make a redhead female mage as your Warden. You'll get to keep Leliana as a rogue and still be able to romance her.

Isn't that what it says? The "l" looks a bit like an "i" but it looks nothing like the other "i". Or was that a joke? It's hard to tell...



Anyway, think I'll make my last Origins character pre-DA2. Leliana romance, of course. Tempted to try and make a city elf mage, rooting around Backgrounds.xls to see if it's possible. Just because, as much as I like mages, I couldn't play the mage origin again, I don't like the situation it puts you in with Jowan/Irving.

No wait that was me, hehe I forget that BioWare social doesn't have an easy hide unhide feature I still had it hidden when I was working on it should be open for everyone now. Sorry about that . . .

Huzzah, got it. I pretty much deleted circle elf origin in the process but oh well. Now I just need to get to Ostagar and see how people react to my character.

They treat you like a City Elf still I believe.

I wish there was a Templar origin really.

Could be interesting, though I can't think what an untrained templar would be fighting over the course of the origin, nothing that would make it feel like a specifically templar origin anyway.

True it would be harder to put something in that would require the templar to be a warden.
Unless they ripped off the mage origin.

Mainly I just like saying MALIFICARUM, MALIFICAR, and ABOMINATION.
Any of those would be an awsome band name.

Yeah, sorry about this problem, if you want I'll redo it. It's just how the font is, it has parts of it taken out to make it look cool and unfortunately the L looks like and ''i'', but it's not a typo.  Anyone feel free to use any of my signatures btw.
