This might be changing subjects, so I don't mean to interrupt. I recently played through a Leliana romance with a male and female Warden, although the Fem went with Alistair. I've heard some people say Leliana prefers women, but I don't think she prefers either gender. Playing through those playthroughs I realized Leliana just believes in love between 2 people as she hints through her stories and her banters.  Yes she have an affair with another woman, but after playing Leliana's Song DLC, I feel Marjolaine was only using love to control people, because she makes a hint to the fun she had with the revered mother, who says it feels so right. As Leliana stated she only loved me when she could control me. As far as men in Leliana's past: she had flings with alot of men, and from how she says it she regrets what she did to some of them. That's why I like Leliana's character, she is a hard person to understand just looking for someone to love her, man or a woman.  Plus her bisexuality adds to her kindness.  


and is it just me or does Leiana flirt with Alistair?  she was even admitting to loving Alistair I was like "WTF!!!!!" lol

just want peoples opinion.

A lovely mod currently open to testers I thought I'd post a link since this is for Leliana.  It includes some fixes to her bugs (you should be able to trigger her quest properly and it fixes some broken dialogues with hardened Leliana as well allowing you to keep her as your mistress if you marry Anora).  Not sure what else it fixes but it adds the ability to repeat her vanilla tent scene and kiss in camp more than once and adds a lovely new kiss to the line "I love you".  PIcs to follow:  As it's a beta the mod is open to testers group *but the group is open to players to join*

Though I'm wondering if the mod removes your underwear when doing... "it" with Leliana...

But seeing the images, I can say that I'm impressed.

The mod doesn't remove underwear it just makes the vanilla kiss/tent scene repeatable and it includes the kiss I posted pics of   Plus fixes some of the issues with her quest and dialogues as 'hardened'

The kiss is available once PC hits "Love" level of approval with Leliana.  (91+ and quest done)

OMG I just realized in pic three OGHREN is watching...that slimy lil perv!!

Dialogue Tweaks fixes some stuff in Leliana's dialogue. It also adds options, like letting her sing the elven song again. And it fixes the "Let's go to bed" option for me.



I hope that both can be made compatible...

I'm not sure if they conflict.  Probably do.  You would have to check with Cmess but I think they will.  I dont' have Dialogue Tweaks so since this fixed some of my issues with her and  I know its compatible with my other mods, I'm content to run this one instead.

I think that cmessaz has been in contact with the dialogue tweaks author to make sure the mods don't conflict



I've been in the testers group for some time though I think it'll be a while before there's anything to test. She's been busy after all with all those origin specific scenes for Alistair.

Let's just say that Dialogue Tweaks comes from Dragon Age Nexus. So I doubt that neither of those know anything about the existence of each other's mod.

Besides, how is it possible to make images of the scenes if there's no file of the mod to be found??

Ask Cmessaz Giggles.  I don't use other dialogue things because I use Gilmore mod. Her's is the only Dialogue fixes I use because most of the others conflict with Gilmore and cmessaz's mods don't.

Yeah, I've been that nuts to go through EVERY page of this thread (was in search of some other fan-art for a Leliana wallpaper). And it looked like that, back then, there were more users who posted here.

...Tis most curious.

Anyway, I'll just wait for the mod to come out. I'll see for myself then if both mods do conflict with each other.

School started today for me... 

And since I have done almost everything in Dragon Age, I'm a bit bored... And since I'm not excited about DA 2 (the way I see it, one of BioWare's supposedly "greatest" games is put into the EA sausage machine to be made palatable for a "wider audience"), so... yeah... Go figure. 

So I'm practically wasting my time, doing nothing. <_<

I don't think that Leliana flirts with Alistair. However, when you play as a female Warden and you are romancing Alistair, Leliana says in a conversation with Alistair that the awkwardness of Alistair is a part of his charms, and that it is endearing.

Does she? I've never heard her say "I love Alistair" in any dialogue that exists in the game, I looked through the toolset but I only found dialogue where he was flirting with her and the only thing that might come close to her being flirty is when she's talking to a female warden in a romance with Alistair so I don't know if that counts since said avenue is cut off and she very well knows it.

As for Leliana's sexual preference she's bisexual she has had sex with men and women, however the way the romances work between the two genders she comes across a bit more in control with a female warden than a male warden. It's not a great difference but there is a different build-up since she starts the romance not the warden, which is the primary difference between a male and female warden before the paths merge and they becomes largely the same. Also as for her previous sexual history, dialogue after the lesbian threesome with Isabella reveals that Leliana picked up a few "tricks" from some noble women in Orlais so it could be that women were pleasure and love and men were business but it's hard to say for sure. I think she might be more comfortable with a woman but that in no way changes the fact that she's bisexual.

After playing Leliana Song it should have been clear that Leliana would have trouble with men, but also with women.

Thats why its fun to romance her as a Dalish, Dwarf, or Mage since they arent close to Marjorlane or Captain Scuzzbucket.

Alistair and Lel do flirt a few times. I think she more coy when she flirts with people. During the Alistair triangle, she does admit to liking alistair.

During the Morri and Lel, when Lel comes after you for playing with Morrigan, you can reply to her saying" you played with men before, you even enjoyed it."

With the first one he starts it and her response is flagged as teasing since she's making fun of his conceptualization of Orlesian Bards. As for the second one no where is any of the dialogue flagged as flirty or suggestive, it's a conversation between Alistair and her where she's reacting to the information that he is heir to the throne of Ferelden I don't think that's flirting. I mean it is possible for a woman to give a man a compliment without it having being anything more than that.



As for the Alistair triange, again that's linked to the Alistair romance I found the line:



Leliana: I... understand. I... I love you both and I'm happy for you, and I will always be here, if you need me, my friend.



Is it romantic love or companative love, it sounds more like the latter to me since at this stage you and Leliana haven't even shared a kiss let alone made declarations of love to one another. She likes Alistair as a person but I don't see anything that really shows any romantic interest in him on her part.

Yah outside of Crapspawn Chronicles, Leliana and AListair have no real interest in each other.

The Warden is too damn awsome to ignore.
