I think that it doesn't matter if the Warden is male or female. To her, love is all that matters. Especially the love between two people.

And that's why we love Leliana.

And since a male Warden can romance Leliana already from the very moment you meet her, I'm not so sure if it is easier for a female Warden to romance Leliana.

By "easier" I meant that you didn't have to initiate a romance on your own. Leliana basicaly comes on to you by making a comment about your hair.

A male Warden needs to be the one who takes the first step and let's her know that he's interrested.

And yes, Leli isn't picky when it comes to gender.

That's true... But I screwed up when Leliana took the first step. :pinched:<_<:(:crying:

And I guess you're right. But still, I don't think Leliana would mind if the Warden is male or female. And that's a part of her charms, isn't it?
She can't be picky; that's not something for Leliana if you ask me.

Leli certainly doesn't care about gender although she does seem a bit happier in a relationship with a female. You get extra approval if you do a F/F threesome with Isabella as opposed to a M/F threesome and there's also a certain line during one conversation (when she actually says the words "I love you") that's only supposed to play for females. Unfortunately that last line is bugged and will play for everyone but the scripting notes on the Toolset make it clear that it's only supposed to play for females. The Dialogue Tweaks mod has fixed this.

But really with Leliana it's not about gender, it's about love.

Oh no, I never wanted to say that she's picky about her lover's gender. She obviously loves the Warden regardless of his/her gender.

Which is indeed a part of her charm. But I think the bigger part of her charm is her attitude. She so optimistic and warm. Like she always manages to see the best in people.:wub:

Indeed. Too bad not every girl is like that... :(:crying:

I bet that those things that add to her charm are the ones that one would easily fall for.

And there are much more things that I like of Leliana. For example, Leliana does not back down from tasks that seem impossible. Nor she is afraid to do things that make her dirty. That's why I find her so adorable. :wub:

I think that's what makes me smile so much about Leli, it's the fact that she's one of the few bright people during the game. I love all of my companions, but some of them can be childish or too dark at times. We know the world is going to pot, we don't want to be reminded of it every 5 minutes however. That's why Leli is so special. You know that she will never judge you or abandon you. Her faith humbles my Wardens, and keeps them balanced. I can imagine that being useful over the years they spend together after Awakening.

I actually prefer to call my Warden Leliana's Warden. :P:wub: (She calls the Warden her Warden (as far as I know, only when you romanced her) at the gates of Denerim if you do not bring her with you to fight the Archdemon, BUT I suppose you knew that already.)

And indeed, Leliana is one of those few bright spots in the dark setting of the game.

Well I didn't think it was THAT bad yeah he doesn't have his name. but he reacts to the story and Morrigan reacts to him. I'm not sure why they couldn't import his name and codex, but to me it was the same dog :P. The answer to why he wasn't in other DLC and Awakening was kind of cheap for us, but I'm sure our warhound didn't mind lol.

That has to be the single greatest day job ever.

Are you talking about the "one day I hope to be as special as marjolaine" convo or the "have you ever felt this way about anyone else."  So she's not supposed to declare her love to the male warden?  Does she even love the male warden?

I never got why the f/f threesome got approval points and the m/f didn't.  She clearly admits loving to get dirty with boys.  I usually did the foursome anyways on my males.  Maybe it's the first time she's done that with all females. idk.

After playing the dlc, I think Marjolaine viewed Leliana more in a pleasurable way then a loving way.  The way she called Leliana "pretty thing" and the "your mine" comments.  I know Lel said she wasn't always like that, but didn't want to believe her true nature.  The dlc codex on Marjolaine says noone really knew her outside of being a bard, but idk, its open for fanfic.

I dont think Marjorlane can care for anyone else really.

The only person that matters to her is well HER.

I liked the DLC a lot really.

Also Silas is badass.

yea, when Lel said Marjolaine was a rich widow of a nobleman, I figured she killed him off to get rich.

yea, silas is a badass. lol  just read his codex to from the dlc. Says Lel found him charming, because he was an outcast or something.

I agree Marjorlane is a deluded piece of crap I feel no remorse in killing.

She is not going to let Leliana go, last thing I need is a crazy lady coming after me.

So, now that DAO is all wrapped up, does everyone pretty much agree that Leliana holds the title for best DLC? I wouldn't have guessed that when I first started playing.

I'd say Leliana's Song is worth getting for anyone who is interested in the character.

Well I think it's easier to romance her as a male because you still need like +20 approval to get her to start the hair convo.  But I've heard alot of people say males are easier and others female.

I like her forbidden fruit convo because basically she tells you your going to have to work to get into her pants. lol

The best DLCs are:

Stone Prisoner and Leliana's Song.

I want to get witch hunt but it sounds so buggy. And most of my wardens do the Loghain Redeemer end,

It's worth it in that it does give closure to the Morrigan/Warden story.  But don't expect to come out of it with any new info.  You basically come out of the DLC knowing about as much as you did going in, regardless of how you play it.  Morrigan's appearance is very short though... for a DLC all about her, she's only involved for the last 2-3 minutes of it.

Which is why I am glad I stick to Leliana really.
I know that no matter what her and my Warden have a future. Or at least one without bugs for the most part.

Also I cant resist this face:
