oh, I'm not saying 1 lel romance is better then the other, I like both her f/f and m/f the same.  You end up with lel in the end and thats all that matters.


I was just upset that half the m/f leliana romance is glitched.  her mistress ending, and that "Are we fishing for compliments line?" playing only for f!wardens, when it should play only for males.  Is Lel the only romance that glitches?

Read ejoslin's blog to find out about some of the bugs in Zev's romance.

As for Morrigan, TerraEx released a whole mod to fix many of the issues with her dialogue and romance.

So to tell you the truth, Leli's romance is relatively bug free.

I'm not sure about Alistair's romance since I've never really done it or been interested to find if it has any bugs.

Tell you the truth I didn't start experiencing Lel bugs until I tried making her my mistress, my f/f with Lel was glitch free. So other then those bugs I mention Lel is pretty much bug free, your right.





My biggest Morrigan bug, is when I broke up with her and she still had an active romance. Thats athe only bug I can think of, with her, but I'm sure there is alot more.

All the Romances are bugged to varying degrees, Alistair's isn't that bad compared to Zevran (who's dialog tree is totally busted) but his really unravels at the Landsmeet since no matter what you do he thinks he's King and other crap like that. The best part is that these bugs plus many others (like the infinite XP bug) will never be fixed on console and only fixed in unofficial patches on the PC. With DA2 coming out BioWare has essentially said they don't care about Origins anymore and won't dedicate any resources to it after Witch Hunt.

Ah yes, Alistair's belief that he is king even if he is not.... glorious!

It's truly a shame that Bioware left it up to the community to fix this and as you said, only PC gamers will actually have access to the fixes.

The video is down but I've already seen every possible modded scene for Lels (or any of the companions) so I can already imagine what i was.

At least you get a second chance to start a romance with Leliana, A CHANCE MALES DON'T GET (unless they want to use stupid lovepotion mods >_> (which are rubbish anyway)). And it ticks me off.

Fun part is, every romance is supposed to be startable twice... So, perhaps the dialogue where Leliana compares you with Marjolaine was first meant for females only, but afterwards for both males and females...

And so perhaps they forgot to edit the comments there, just like Alistair's age is wrong in the Toolset...

...I don't feel like stopping with whining just yet... Not until I drive everyone insane. 

Ugh, I'm acting a bit silly and immature here.  But it just annoys me sooo much... I just wish that there was a mod out there that would do the same things as Dialogue Tweaks, but without blocking out the second opportunity for male Wardens to start a romance.

Yeah it comes off as a bug, and a pretty damn big one that makes a otherwise good mod kind of annoying to have to work around. It's doable but it still annoys me.

I can help it though, But only as Dain.

Its like the episode of Futurama where the crew shows up to a planet with huge amazon women almost for Dain. He keeps going "By all the ancestors what is going on!" Leliana is flat out flirting with him and scaring him a little. Not that he dosent like it but the idea of him and a human is just a little wierd for him. Than again the idea of a threesome was wierd too, but look how that turned out .

Except when Dain gets back to Orzamar that is... .

Its alot harder to sink the relationship as a male then female anyway.    So unless for some odd reason you choose Morrigan, you should be fine.

Well, I PM'ed the creator of Dialogue Tweaks if he / she could create a additional file that still allows the second chance to start a romance with Leliana if you're a male.

...Though I highly doubt that he / she will ever read the PM... He / she has been offline for a few weeks now.

Besides, I find it quite easy to sink your relationship with Leliana. Not so long ago, I accidentally clicked on "I'm just sick of you."  (or something similar to that) instead of clicking on "I'm afraid to lose you."

Overall I like the flirting with Lel, she's to nice to turn you down, but mean enough to say no to Zevran. lol  Out of all romances Leliana's is the most normal.  Guy flirts with girl, girl talks about her fruit,  guy gives girl flowers, girl and guy kiss.  I don't know how girls like handling the f/f Leliana romance, iI just did it for the girl on girl action. lol
Also, unlike some companions *cough* Morrigan, Alistair, maybe Zevran *cough*, she doesn't think every guy or girl is into her.  Which I like about her character.

Sometimes my mouse is hovering on the right choice, but then... then I accidentally hit the mouse a bit too hard just at the moment I click and you get that as a result...

I felt horrible when my War - er, HER Warden said that, especially because I didn't meant to. And you can't imagine Leliana was pleased with what HER Warden said either...

I didn't play Dragon Age for the rest of that day... *sob*

I just can't get myself to tell Leliana to leave the party. I just can't.

And, usually, I make quicksaves too before starting a conversation. But, because of what her Warden said, I just couldn't play Dragon Age for the rest of that day.
