Ain't gonna mess with the lines. I hardly know what I am doing then.
...However, I've been thinking... You know that, in Dialogue Tweaks, the second romance option is removed, right? You also could try to undo that... If not, then it's too bad.
But I'll let you know if I find something suitable (the lines you provided earlier sound like some excellent lines).
Edit: Ahh, I see you found a nice line... To be honest, I was thinking about that one, too.

Yes, it is DT that does that. I've read it in the readme file of the manual version of DT (since version .91).Bruddajakka wrote...
It is DT that removes it? If so that needs to be fixed. It's supposed to be in there.
I don't think the creator did it on purpose. When I looked for the line, the comments section showed that the line was originally meant for females to start a romance instead of males. But it could be wrong, just like Alistair's age in the Toolset.
Yesterday, I sent the creator of it a message about it. But I haven't gotten a reply so far...
Anyway, to keep up with all the other guys who put up different songs that would fit with Leliana, I was thinking of this song... And if you think about it, then it "fits" with the romance between the Warden and Leliana.

Anyway, my Non-DT version is here (link removed). I'll try to load in DT (hopefully my toolset will behave) and get a DT version out soon. Hmmm, one thing, though. There IS a romance starter for males in that conversation.
But you know, I"m looking over that conversation further. There are issues in it, I believe, with a male warden's conversation getting cut off with the proper coding in place. I'll rework this a bit more I think. Hmmmm.

Awwww, but it is such a nice line...ejoslin wrote...
I remove it as well. It's not supposed to go to males, only females. What happened was someone forgot to put the flag in, and it went to EVERYONE, romance eligible or not. It's only supposed to go to women, and it still has some issues. I tried to fix it, and ended up really fubaring things.
Ugh, there's no way I can convince you, right?

Edit: Would you like a DT-Compatible version without that flag in there? I can't just remove it because, well, then it goes to EVERYONE! But doesn't the line, "So far, things are not so bad. Look, now I have new friends, new loves... in spite of it all, life... life is good." trigger for males, starting the romance? It should. The flag looks in order.

Actually, that line only triggers if her approval is at Love. If it would trigger a romance with a male, the flag would've been something similar like the one for the "And I... I think I have." line.ejoslin wrote...
I can take out the flag for you if you'd like and put it up on rapid share. I will need to think about this further, but I have to leave in a little while, so I'll get back to it later. I'm not sure there's supposed to be a romance starter in there for men. But it certainly is doable. I'll look around a bit more and see if there are any other things that should be starters.

But in response to the first question... Yeah, I'd really like it if you could take out the flag... Besides, you don't have to put it up on RapidShare if you don't want to. You can also email the file to me. (I suppose it isn't oversized.)
And yeah, I would like a DT-Compatible version without that flag in there.
I... suppose you are right at that. It isn't the end of the world really... But, well, er... I dunno.Bruddajakka wrote...
It's not the end of the world really. I know enough about the different romances to work around it. But when first happened it was a bit of a shock since I'd been using it to restart her romance before I started using the romance Mods. It just seems really weird to me that Male Warden's can't compare to the woman who horribly betrayed her.

That line should trigger at "love eligible," not love. And the romance starts if you take that line. I'll look at the DT version to see if it was changed.

It should? Here, the flag says APP_LOVE_LELIANA_ELIGIBLE, so I suppose it means it comes up when Leliana's approval is at Love and you talk to her about Marjolaine.ejoslin wrote...

Edit: Sunnofa****, guess what has no code attached to it. That flag. Ok... Well, fixing it is a bit complex since it's a universal flag (all characters use it), but I will figure out something here.

Well, even if the flag is supposed to start a romance, I don't see anything about that line that tells me that she loves me. In fact, all it tells me is that she loves someone without saying someone specific. And it really doesn't feel like it should start a romance.ejoslin wrote...
the love flag is different, though. There's no dialog in there that is different, though. Hmmm, I'll take a look at the coding itself -- I've found errors in that as well.

I can put that line back in if she is romance eligible -- the main problem with that will be, well, then you could get it as low as interested :/ Hmmmmm, I will have to think on this some more. What a mess.
Ok, how's this?
I... I think I have ==> only if she's in love.
So far, things are not so bad ==> only if the romance is not cut off or if the romance is active I suppose (which could be a bit messy for people who haven't dumped her so I'll add a line saying, "you are my dear friend" or something like that to not start the romance and "I'm so glad you feel that way" to allow it to start or something like that)
It's not so bad ==> going to everyone else
Anyway, this will take me a few days because I have to make sure all the break up lines now cut off the romance since I'll be using that flag.

Yeah which is why I'm wondering if there's was supposed to be something for a Male Warden in the Has anyone else ever made you feel like this, and it ended up getting screwed up. Which it sounds like it has.
she doesn't come out and say I love you to a male warden, she is supposed to say something about you being there for her and you are more then a friend. Only female wardens get it because of a bug.
Now that I'm reading those lines I can clearly see the "Are you fishing for compliments." was meant for males and the you remind me of Marjolaine was for females.

I also like the romance starter with the flowers, when you ask Leliana for a kiss (the flowers can be used to restart a romance that was cut off earlier, perhaps (just like Morrigan and the mirror)?)... But I think that editing both the flowers as the dialogue would be quite the task, wouldn't it?
Awww, poo! Too much to think about. I'll need to think about all of this... I'll go through every options that were given again.
Edit: You are actually avoiding the offer you made earlier to which I agreed...
You can just mail the file to me if you want. Then other cannot get it.
Hmmmm, it has a plot flag that is set for when Leliana's approval is at Adore and the Warden is a male. So to get that line, you must have already started a romance. Though it makes for a nice romance starter, too...Viva la France wrote...

I think, much like Zevran's romance, it's one of those things that distinguishes between the relationship between a male and female. They are very very similar, but with enough differences to make them feel more real. Having a woman ask if she reminds her of the last woman she loves, it's a bit more intimate. With a male, it has a different feel, and not as, I don't know, insecure maybe?
Idk, I like the being there for her line more. Feels like the only reason she likes a female warden is because she reminds her of her psycho mentor she had an affair with.
I think with a male, she acts like it's a new start for her. If you look at her dialogue with males, she wants males to take charge of the relationship.

I think there was more to their relationship than an "affair", at least to Leliana there was, though that doesn't come across quite as much as perhaps it could in-game.Viva la France wrote...

we all know how gulliable Lel can be sometimes, like her shale banter. Marjolaine used love to control people. For example that priest in Leliana's dlc. In Marjolaines codex Lel even said noone knew her outside from being a bard.
So in my opinion Marjolaine knew Lel hungered for someone to love her, and she became that love to manipulate Lel because she knew Lel would do anything for her.

True, but at the time she did love Marjolaine, even if she was just being manipulated, so when Leliana says the female warden reminds her of Marjolaine she's not really referring to that crazy woman who keeps getting decapitated in Denerim (or is that just me?), but to who Marjolaine (presumably) pretended to be to manipulate her in the first place.Viva la France wrote...
