No conflicts with the dazip version. My files will take precedence over the ones in the DAZip. I added a few more romance cut-off flags (since the romance-eligible flags don't seem to work that well) but it's invisible if you normally romance her. Just don't tell her she's too frivolous or getting the wrong idea about you or anything as that cuts off the romance for good.

As far as I know, women who are involved with Leliana always got the correct epilogue dialog. The problem was that ALL males were getting it, not just ones in a romance with Leliana.

Edit: And thank you so so much for testing!

You know I also thought the So does the Hero get the girl line was in place to restart the romance if you bring up with her but use the After all this is over maybe line...I'll give it a test got a couple of saves right near those points in her romance.

Returning to BSN, decided to drop into my favourite DA community. I've gone too long without Leli.

My sister thinks she's adorable though

So I ran through most of those conversations, and the fishing for compliments line does feel a lot more natural then her just totally dismissing the male warden during that conversation. Rest of it seems to be working fine as well.

OMG ejoslin, you are so amazing!

I'll be doing some testing tonight. I'll let you know if everything is working as intended.

One observation, I never got the "So does the hero get the girl" with my FemWardens. It was always "the heroine".

EDIT: Quick question, if I'm using the dazip version of DT, will there be any conflicts?

When I did my Morri romance playthrough my Warden got "So does the hero get the girl." with Lel, but when he was in a romance with Lel it was "So does the hero get his girl."  Is there a difference in endings or something?

yea, I really like that fishing for compliments line, hard to believe one line can give a romance an entire different feel. lol

@ejoslin:

Looks like everything is working as it should be. I tested for both hardened and unhardened dialogues. I had never gotten the line where she says she'll return to Orlais when hardened, now I did. I also got the different love declaration when hardened.

And this time I didn't get the "fishing for compliments" line, so that one seems to be working well too. I liked the alternative a lot better to be honest, it felt much more natural. I wasn't a big fan of the "fishing for compliments" line.

The mistress dialogue works fine as well. When hardened, she's completely indifferent about it, at least with my female warden.

Overall it looks like everything works as intended. I'll leave it up to the guys to test the male dialogue.

And once again, thank you for doing this ejoslin! Maybe we should start a riot at Bioware Headquarters demanding that they hire you!

question: will I still get the mistress ending with a male if I let Lel break up with me. I really like her dialogue in that convo.

It's not impossible to get her to be your mistress unhardened. Just make sure you don't talk to her until after the coronation. Long as she's still in love with you you can make her your mistress. Just use the So does the Hero get the girl, and does that need to change anything responses.

@Viva la France:

Why would you get the mistress ending if Leli breaks up with you? She'll only stay as mistress if she's still in a relationship with the warden.

As for the alternative to the "fishing for compliments" line, when asked the "have you ever felt like this about someone else" she said "I... think I do" and then proceeded to compare my warden with Marjolaine.

with males she is supposed to break up with you, then you give her time to think about it and the romance will start again at the coronation.  I think.

Does she try breaking up with females if you marry Alistair?

Not in the slightest if she's hardened (unhardened yes, she will break up). This is more or less how the dialogue goes:

Leliana: "You're marrying Alsitair."
Warden: (Three choices)

- "This doesn't change anything"
- "I should've mentioned it before" (or something like that, I don't recall correctly)
- "I'm sorry, I don't what this means for us"

If you select the first option:

Leliana: "Alistair is not going to like that"
Warden: "I'm the one calling the shots, not him" or "He doesn't have to watch"
Leliana: "And for me to be so close to the throne of Ferelden. I foresee interesting times ahead."

If you select the second option:

Leliana: "It's alright, this is just a political arrangement" (or something like that)

The convo then procedes like the first one.

If you select the third option:

Leliana: "It doesn't change anything. People like Alistair know that for them, marriage isn't about love."

And then goes similar to the first one.

Yeah that's more or less exactly the same for a Male Warden with Anora. The trick to keep her your mistress if she's unhardened is to just not talk to her until after the Coronation like I said earlier. Otherwise she'll break up with you. Might be a loop hole but hey it works, and sometimes you just need to do these kinds of things.

Out of curiosity, have you ended a game married to Anora, with both the Leli and Morrigan romances active?

That would be quite the horndog feat!

I did, but Lel was glitched.

Does she say that at the coronation?  Dam, then m/f Lel mistress ending is bugged.

All the time. You can usually keep two romances going at once despite the Break up Demand. With Leli I used to break up with her during her second confrontation then reactive the romance during the Margie dialog, now I break it off with Morrigan then use the mirror to restart it then just ignore Morrigan's jealously conversation because it doesn't force a break up.

I run it on my desktop but my laptop would probably handle it fine with a few graphical settings lowered. It obviously depends on the laptop. You definitely need a mouse though, playing with a touchpad would be a nightmare!

Only if hardened.  Actually, that is one of the few places that uses the correct flag for Leliana being hardened, so I see why it worked.

Going over Leliana's post-coronation dialog, I was surprised that you can break up with her there.  You can't restart the romance, but a few lines will lead to the romance being cut off.

I've pretty much decided, for the official fix of Leliana, to keep it the way that if she's in love with a male or female post-Marjolaine, they get the declaration of love.  If the romance isn't cut off, they get the "new loves," comment that was supposed to go to males that starts the romance, and everyone else gets the friendship line.  It just doesn't make sense that a woman at any level of approval can get an "I love you" (the only women who were not getting that were women who told her, straight out, at 51+ that she had the wrong idea about her) yet a man at 100 love does not.

I'm worried it's a bit of a lore change, but I also know that if Zevran were giving a mind-blowing declaration to a male and not to a female, I'd change that as well.  Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing what the males have to say here, and hopefully will have both an update to ZDF and a new version of the standalone Leliana part of it up within a few days.

Both Leli, and Zev have lines where you can brush them off at the Coronation so I'm not that shocked. They kinda come across as secondary romances to Alistair, and Morrigan in a lot of cases.

I like the way it comes across now Ejoslin. Was just really jarring that the romance activation was missing from that conversation.

Yeah, they do in a way however they seem to have put alot more work into her than most. Her dialog, for example, is heavier than any other chars (if not primarily stories about random stuff most people don't listen to).

It's a shame you won't be seeing her again. She was always my fav.

I'm not so sure they'd abandon her. I could see a very bitter Leli in the Free Marches. Especially after what happens in WH. I mean hell the Warden from my avatar basically abandons her without a word to go off with Morrigan into Mirror World.
