Totally off topic, but what kind of earrings do you think Leli would wear? The engine isn't detailed enough to show off these kinds of things, and Duncan's earring is just a bit odd in my view. I can see Leli with small studs or sleepers, something she doesn't change. Despite her "girly" appearance, I don't think things like earrings interest her much. Same reason I can't see her getting a piercing or tattoo, though if she let her wild side come out, anything is possible.



After all, she did get the equivalent of candy floss/cotton candy stuck in her hair for a few days!

I tried imagining Leliana with earrings, but she looked a bit less attractive with them... It just doesn't suit her.

And since I dislike piercings or tattoo's... Well, let's just say that I don't want to imagine her with them.

Somehow Leliana pulls off being both very girly and very much a tomboy at the same time. I'd guess she probably wouldn't spend too much time thinking about things like earrings, but if she had on a really nice pair of shoes, well, then she might put on some simple earrings to match.



And heh, yes, I'd have to agree with Zjarcal about her wild side.

I think it only does get let out when she is hardened though.

If you dont harden her than she I think tries to keep it down due to it reminding her of her bard days.

I think that it would get out eventually. When hardened, she pretty much goes back to her bardic lifestyle so the "wild" side comes out more naturally. But even when unhardened, after enough time has passed for her to put all of her past behind her and most importantly, once she has truly settled with the Warden, I can see the kinky girl rise to the surface.

I just use the "share it" option next to each pic and copy paste the forum code (I do delete the whole "uploaded with Imageshack" thing).

I think that yours are being linked because you directly copy the link from the browser and then place between the [ IMG ] [ /IMG ] tags. I believe that if you actually place a link in there, the picture will be linked. In those cases what I do is that I first post the link on a notepad file (to delink it) and then place it in between the tags.

does anyone play DAO on a laptop? After seeing all these glitches, I hate consoles. lol

I haven't tried it on my laptop yet and I probably never will.

Only half a terabyte of free space, which has been divided stupidly (100 Gb on C drive, the rest on D drive) by the manufactorer. Also a Dell i7 with 8 CPU's of ~1,86 GHz each.

Only good thing about my laptop is its video card: ATI 1 GB, though it would've been nice to have a nVidia card instead.

So chances are I'm going to let a company assemble a laptop for me with the parts I've chosen.


At any rate, I've taken my time to read through all the replies. And... perhaps you guys are right... Leliana seems to feel herself more comfortable with a woman instead of a man. But I reject that image, since it just gives me a negative feeling about the romance with her if you're playing as a male (the fact that Leliana preferred women over men nearly ruined it for me (don't ask me why, though)). Yeah, you partially have me convinced (I don't like change (I'm a autist and when something changes that I have gotten used to is kinda hard to accept), so... yeah... that's mainly the reason why I behaved so whiney and stuff... I apologize for that.).

Still, I think that Leliana cares more about the love between two persons than the gender (though she probably feels herself more comfortable with a woman than a man). But for both a male and female Warden, the endings are the same: going off in the sunset together (or staying in Denerim). So that gives me satisfaction (and I think that Leliana will eventually love a male Warden as much as she loved Marjolaine).

We'll always love Leliana, no matter what. Right? :wub:

And I read the part of the file that needed testing... Man, half of the stuff that stood there wasn't that clear to me... Don't blame me for being Dutch, I can't help it.

I've pretty much decided, for the official fix of Leliana, to keep it the way that if she's in love with a male or female post-Marjolaine, they get the declaration of love.  If the romance isn't cut off, they get the "new loves," comment that was supposed to go to males that starts the romance, and everyone else gets the friendship line.  It just doesn't make sense that a woman at any level of approval can get an "I love you" (the only women who were not getting that were women who told her, straight out, at 51+ that she had the wrong idea about her) yet a man at 100 love does not.

I'm worried it's a bit of a lore change, but I also know that if Zevran were giving a mind-blowing declaration to a male and not to a female, I'd change that as well.  Anyway, I'm looking forward to hearing what the males have to say here, and hopefully will have both an update to ZDF and a new version of the standalone Leliana part of it up within a few days.

Hmmm. I have never heard Leliana saying to a male Warden that she loves him. It would be nice indeed to hear it at least once. 

Though it is a bit of a lore change, people still have the option of not installing it at all (though some things that are fixed in it will not be fixed without it). But as long as it is a bit of a lore change and not a huge game-converting lore change, I don't mind.

It's hard to say, she shows interest when the male flirts with her.  And she does love the male warden, what were those catfights with Morrigan about, and she even said she loved the male warden to shale.  One could say she is much more private with a fem warden because of no banters, but idk.

And indeed, Leliana is very possessive about the Warden. I guess that is why she refers the Warden as her Warden. I'm special!

Almost every single playthrough Alistair stares at Morrigan and both Morrigan and Leliana stare at me.
I don't mind a little attention...
