wow this thread gets active at night. Those pics (except of the one that we shall not speak of) are amazing.



Been working on my archer, didn't go rogue this time, wanted to ease myself into it. And...holy crap Archers are *beasts*! Especially against mages. Instead of keeping Leli as a archer I've switched her to DW and wow does she ever get in there and mix it up with Sten and Zev. So far she's gotten killing blows on Uldred, the High Dragon, and the Broodmother. Seriously the woman is a killing machine. It's so awesome.



Also, one-shotting mages with Arrow of Slaying never gets old. Never.



Anyway, back to the Leli discussion. I've yet to playthrough Awakenings with a Leli romanced Warden (I just got Awakenings a few days ago) and I don't want to be spoiled but...does the Warden get some mention of her at all? My m!Warden Cousland who romanced Morrigan, broke it off, married the Queen and refused to go through the mirror with Morrigan - when I got awakenings had some crazy slide at the end of it where he goes back to court only to vanish a few years afterward. If that's the case with all the Wardens I'm not taking my Leliana romanced Warden into Awakenings. I'd rather leave the story at - 'and the Warden, Leliana and Dog traveled around Theadas happily ever after.'

But yes the Warden and Leliana do reconnect at the end of Awakening and run off. Which is awsome really. Since that is the happiest ending really.

You get a letter from Leliana in Awakening if you romanced her. The epilogue for her is probably the closest one to a "happy ending" of all the LI epilogues.

All the people the warden commander helped, dwarves, elves, mages, kings, commenors, and mages all have gathered to pay respects to the warden. When his/her's name is called and the curtain is raised all they see is an empty caramel pudding packet. With a note that reads "Gone to get more Caramel Pudding."

Yay! I do wish she had made an apperance in Awakenings like Wynne and Oghren. I'm playing as a Dalish warrior archer and I would relish the chance to make Valenna foam at the mouth at the very thought of a Dalish with a Human (and a Orlisan at that). Val's okay and all but I have a feeling she and my warden won't be getting along to well.

Well now that I fixed the Leliana mistress bug for males, I started a new Cousland. Marcus Cousland (named after Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa, the Roman general that defeated Marc Anthony, I like naming characters based off of famous generals.lol) Like my other Couslands he wil get around and romance Lel and Morri.

So just want to thank you guys for all the modding tips.

How is warrior archers? always wanted to try one.

I like naming my Wardens after historical figures too. Or historical figures from the game. Like, Shartan for a Dalish male, or Tinuviel from one of Tolkien's elves. (i'm not very well read about elven names so...Tolkien seems as good as any) Dane for a Coulsand male... Dumat for the dog's name ( i can just see Elenor just horrified that her son named his dog after a archemon hee!)

Warror Archers are an exprience I'll tell you that. They don't have the defensive abilites like dirty fighting or below the belt - so getting attacked up close is bothersome. Doable but bothersome. Since she was Dalish she got the preset dual sweep talent so when attacked up close I usually switch to her daggers. But really, the bow does more damage than her daggers do, mostly. I went with warrior because I really suck at building rogues - and a rogue archer is what I'm trying to build - so I thought I would start out with a class I'm familiar with and go from there. It's actually quite fun. I usually take out the oncoming enemies before they get too close. And seriously one shotting mages with AoS is just...*so* much fun. I use the bow you get from Witch Hunt and dude is it *nice*, if I remember correctly it's better than Marjoline's Recurve! (i think)

And also, I've pumped her str as well as her dex just so I can wear heavy armor. But so far Battledress of the Procwhatever has been freaking good. But I think I'll wind up with Evon the Great's mail for the stamina regen.

And...that's a long spill just to say: it's fun! And its even more fun than I ever thought it would be and this is coming from a lover of stomping darkspawn into gooey paste!

also I can tank as a archer! i didn't know it could be done but yes, i've done it! and it's really cool!

Because I has to  since school starts at 08:30 and I have to wake up around 06:30. And staying up til one o'clock will certainly not help.

The Leliana that my male Warden gets at night keeps on stuffin' him with caramel pudding... Every night. AGAIN.

Honestly I cant see her getting into that unhardened, what with her moving away from her old life.



Hardened I can see her slipping into that pretty easily....
