Anyway I don't even think he comes in the DA threads anymore, and he didn't even write Leliana so we should be safe. of course you know I give him mad props for for what he does... 

Anyway I started writing my rendition of Leliana's towel scenario in my Media Literacy class today... Imma go type that up.

That would be very fitting. I think I just might wait to equip Leli with it until after that conversation from now on.

Well, in case anyone is interested -- I finally decided (I hope) how to handle the post-marjolaine conversation. Let me know if you feel this is the wrong way to handle it.

Males do need the chance to rekindle the romance, but her declaration is very clearly supposed to only go to a female. SO I decided to handle it like this:

Romance cut off -- gets the new life comment.
Female and romance eligible -- get's the talk about how she's like marjolaine etc.
males who do not have the romance cut off get the comment about "new lives, new loves" and if they're not in a romance with her already, will get the romance started.

To counter the problem of females getting ninja romanced, I did put in a couple of more "romance cut off" flags in the "hair" conversation to correspond with the "not eligible same sex" flag that is used there now.

Females can STILL be ninja'ed, however. I am doing this deliberately. I did NOT add a romance cut off flag if you tell Leliana she's a treasured friend because, well, in a way, I really do associate Leliana with ninja romance!

Also, now, the conversation she has at adore, now the breakup works.

And of course, all my other changes are still in effect.

I'll put up a link to this, the Dialog Tweaks compatible (final) version, in a few minutes. I'll work on the non-DT version tomorrow, and hopefully have it released by the end of the week! I am NOT going to be doing major testing on this personally. Most of my changes have been in the wild quite a while. And I don't think I have the saves to test it properly anyway.

That sounds excellent ejoslin! That's really the best way to handle it.



I also think that telling her she's a treasured friend shouldn't completely cut off the romance. It's not exactly a clear cut "I don't want to romance you", so I think it's okay the romance can still be activated.
