It's beautiful (but I do hate to see Leli cry)...I always felt like the Recurve should have been a gift-able item that triggered a conversation.

That would've been a great idea. Maybe tie it in to the "are you feeling better about what happened to Marjolaine" convo, where she compares the PC to Marjolaine. Or a recollection of a previous adventure with Marjolaine.

That would be very fitting. I think I just might wait to equip Leli with it until after that conversation from now on.

Ok, I finished (I hope, oh god, I HOPE) leliana.dlg.  I have the mod up at both Zevran Dialog Fix as part of the entire mod and Leliana Your Zevran Dialog Fix as a standalone.  of course, I do recommend ZDF, but if you don't want all of it, at least get the party_banters_5.  There's an added Leliana banter in there as well!

Since I'm advertising, here is my list of fixes:

-Leliana's Your Zevran conversation no longer loops.
-Leliana's declaration of love is different if she's hardened.
-Leliana will respond appropriately the warden is marrying Alistair/Anora. If she is the love interest and hardened, the proper dialog will trigger. If she is not involved in the warden, she will no longer break up with them.
-There are now a couple of appropriate responses for a gay/bisexual male warden when Leliana confronts him at Care if he's slept with Zevran.
-Leliana will no longer confront a male warden who had agreed to marry Anora before the landsmeet but does not end up engaged to her.
-Leliana now gives the proper response if hardened when asked what her future plans are.
-When discussing the afterlife, a choice that was only supposed to be visible to humans now actually appears for humans but no one else.
-Leliana will now always declare her feelings and proposition the warden after she falls in love.
-Now a dialog that should have only been seen by females who were eligible to start a romance with Leliana will only show when those conditions are met (non-DT version only as DT had already corrected this).
-Corrected a dialog going to females which should have been going to males.
-If the warden breaks up with Leliana in the conversation she has at "adore," the breakup will work.
-Female wardens who have the romance cut off with Leliana no longer will get the romance starter dialog in the post-Marjolaine conversation
-Male wardens who do not have the romance cut off should now have one more chance to start the romance post-Marjolaine.

Right now though I am in a Zevran romanceing run, but I have two Leliana ones on hold.



Here is an idea:

Make up a banter unique to an origin/race for Leliana about the warden if she is romancing him/her:

Dwarf Warden:

Alistair: So um about you and him?

Leliana: This again Alistair? And no I was not oogoling him if you must ask.

Alistair: No its not that, its just well he's a-

Leliana: What a dwarf, just because <gets angrier>

Alistair: NO, its just that how do you deal with the beard I mean! Honest!

Leliana: Oh that <giggles> its not to hard to "deal" with sometimes it has a mind of its own it seems.

Alistair: OH, Thats nice Ill just be over there, dunking my head in some water.

*grin* The barrier to that of course would be voice acting. Splicing things together always sounds, well, a bit off unfortunately. It's too bad, because banters are always so much fun!

Edit: HAh, because i can't think to play, but yeh, ok, ignore most of this then!

That was more just a make it up kinda game, not a suggestion to you my friend.
I know how hard VO work is to splice and play with.

Zevran: So have you spoken to the Warden yet, my dear?

Leliana: About what, Zevran?

Zevran: Why my offer of course!

Leliana: *exasperated sigh* Oh, that...No, Zevran, I have not asked the Warden if she thinks I should sleep with you.

Zevran: No? Why ever not? If it helps, you can tell her she is welcome to come along.

Leliana: That does not help, no.

Zevran: Come now, Leliana. You do know what they say about the Dalish?

Leliana: That they are a proud and noble people?

Zevran: That they are wild and untamed! Completely uninhibited! Just imagine! 

Leliana: Ah well, I don't have to imagine. And the answer is still no.

Ah yes, the Zevran offer...

I didn't like it when he made that offer. It made me want to kill him... 

I also nearly thought that Leliana was going to say yes the first time I heard it... 

Anyway, not long ago I read this banter between Alistair and Oghren that would appear if you were in a romance with Alistair...
So I tried to figure out how a dialogue, similar to the one between Alistair and Oghren, would look like between Leliana and Oghren if a male Warden slept with her... This is all I got so far:

Oghren: So... You and the boss, eh?

Leliana: What are you talking about?

Oghren: You know what I'm talking about.

Leliana: No, I don't.

Oghren: Fertilizing the plants.

Leliana: What?

Oghren: Greasing the rusty mechanics. (couldn't think of a better line here)

Leliana: That's disgusting!

Oghren: Disgusting? Said the one who -

Leliana: Stop! I refuse to speak any more of this!

Oghren: Huh. That's what Branka said when I -

Leliana: I said stop!

Oghren: Fine. Sodding women...

I found it hard to place myself in Oghren. So it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't sound like something that Oghren would say.

I've been trying to create one for female Wardens as well, but it is kinda hard... Still trying.

Yes.  Her declaration of love, the whole comparison to Marjolaine, is only supposed to go to females.  Why males weren't getting that particular line before was a programming error in one of the scripts (females were getting it instead, and that was a mistake).

In my newest version, it should work provided the romance is not cut off.

Plus at the time I was falling for Leliana I was kinda still in denial of my sexuality so... picking her over Alistair was a big mental thing for me...
