I dont see the Dalish really being to open about a same sex couple. I dont have any feelings on it, its people's right to decide their own life really.
TO the dalish though they would not like it since it dosent make any children, so it dosent help them. They say in the origin that every dalish life is important to them. Didnt stop my Dalish from running off with Leliana though. Than again he never really liked the lifestyle and wanted to see things for himself.
Yeah I'm all for it but I was looking at it from the perspective of the Dalish peoples. Actually the Dalish remind me a *bit* of the Quarians in ME - just a bit though!
It's interesting that in a way the Dalish warden could be considered cast out of the clan, I mean you can be cast out and Ducan can conscript you but even if the warden went willingly - that warden does not give back to the clan, not really. Okay yes saving the country from the blight is a really great way to give back but... I look at the Dalish as sort of a traveling band of hunters and gatherers (sort of) every person is needed in that clan to hunt for food, take care of the hallas...etc/whatever so essentially the Dalish warden is leaving a hole in the clan. Annnnd this is getting way off topic I apologize.
Back to Leliana - my warden takes Leliana to see her clan, sort of like showing off your GF to your family but then they are off to Qunari land with Sten. XD
