That's true... Those blasted Vortigaunts... Putting Gordon out of my control...Giggles_Manically wrote...
I liked how he got pwned in HL2 Ep1 though, at least for a while.

But we should get back on topic people.
In a sense that is why Marjolaine betrayed Leliana, her objection to the injustice of treason.Zjarcal wrote...
or if she ended up wronging someone who didn't deserve it.

I'd say fear of getting caught. But that's just me, I guess...Lenimph wrote...
I guess the real question is: Why do you think Leliana spoke out? Was it because she thought it was unjust or was it simply a fear of getting caught?

Hmm I thought about it some more... If Marjolaine didn't betray Leliana for the treason and actually either:
A)switched the papers back
or
B)Convinced Leliana to forget about... Then well option A would show that Marjolaine actually has some humanity and would listen to Leliana...
And B would just show Leliana would listen to Marjolaine to any end. In the dlc Leliana can do some pretty despicable things and she enjoys all of it... so I'm not certain I she would have gotten sick of it. She didn't know any of those people, and you can even steal from the donation basket and it doesn't phase her...

I think the fact that she didn't know any of those people or knew that they were either entrenched in the game themselves or less than noble nobles made it easy for her to do those things. They're all fair game in "the game," if you will. However, if the game ever called on her to hurt someone completely "innocent" that she could put a real face to or to hurt someone she knew and liked, I don't think it would be so easy for her.
