Autumn and Leli!! Yay!!!

That reminds me of how the characters would remain armed after the sex scene in the vanilla game...

Either way, lovely screenies.

And since everyone is sharing their Warden/Leli love, I'll share what I've been doing in the past hour, a wallpaper of my F!Warden and Leli.

LOL!!!

Well, I'm glad you liked it enough to add it to your slideshow, at least for a short while.

Lol I just got the party banter where Ogrhen asks Leliana what she wears under her chantry robes... I wonder why she just didn't tell him "No we weren't naked under them." She's hiding something from us I'm telling you...:bandit:

Uhg I hate Ortan Thaig...

I switch up my tracks I listen to.

Sometimes its:

Crosscut

Amon Amarath

Globus

or the Arrogant Worms when I am bored.

In your wallpaper, on the top right, it looks like your lady and Leli are in a room somewhere, possibly the Gnawed Noble or something? I take it this is some new mod perhaps? It certainally looks a lot more comfortable than the party camp lol. I swear, all that loving on the ground is going to give everyone bad backs.

Yep, it's from the Rendezvous at the Tavern mod. If you have an active romance with Leli (or Morrigan and Alistair) you have the option to talk to the waitress and ask for a room. Sadly the cutscene is the same for males and females (so it make not make complete sense at times :P), but it's still very nicely done.

Okay thank you so much for these music recs - I just watched Amon Amarath's offical vid of "twilight of the thunder god" and it was awesome! It's perfect for the deep roads!

And now I'm listening to 'Carrot Juice is Murder' and I can't.stop.laughing. OMG.:D

Ahem, anyway on-topic. Let's say the Warden and Leliana have some free time and they go on a date, what kind of date do you think Leliana would like?

For some reason I imagine she would like a picnic in a nice medow. and there will be plenty of fruit there, forbidden or not

I agree with you on the meadow thing...

I guess my warden would take Leliana to a nice lunch somewhere and then go shopping.

There is a mod that adds a little date scene for Alistair, I'm gonna see if I can modify it to include Leli instead of Alistair. The scene is really sweet.

I wonder... does anyone think Leliana could be converted to a different religion (Not in-game, but personal storywise)? Would hardening her help with this?

No I don't think so... maybe unhardened Leliana... but regardless her faith is a strong part of her; it helped her build a good standing morality and develop her own interpretations of the Chantry's teachings. I admire the fact that, contrary to popular belief, she is not a blind follower

In fact I could see her starting a new branch/schism of the Chantry.

THIS!

I hate the comments made by some users (one in particular who's name I'll refrain from posting) saying that Leliana is a crazy zealot. She makes it very clear she's not in one of the very first conversations you can have with her.

Yes definitely. This reminds of how people said Ashely Williams from Mass Effect is a zealot only because she said she believes in God. Apparently religion is so unpopular these days that just having faith makes you a zealot.

Now I won't lie, I find Leliana seeing visions, or convincing herself that she is seeing visions, to be concerning and I don't think that's healthy for her. But other than that, I sympathize with her beliefs. She never struck me as a zealot and she can fall in love with a non-Andrastian with no problems.

I especially like how she views faith as hardened. It's like she became wiser when she says that hardship, struggle and danger are equally part of the Maker's world. Now of course I realize this could degenerate into something bad, but I personally saw hardening her as a mixture of her new and old self and hopefully she maintains a balance.

I don't see Leliana abandoning her faith in the Maker. Though based on their differences in reaction to the desecration of the Urn, I suppose an argument could be made that a hardened Leliana would be more willing to make compromises in her faith than an unhardened Leliana.

I totally could see this too! The Chantry has some obvious parallels to the Catholic church and a lot of Leliana's somewhat heretical ideas are reminiscent of Protestantism, in particular the idea of the "priesthood of all believers." Given what we know about the Chantry being brought to its knees in DA2, it'd be interesting to see if Leliana was laying some groundwork for a DA version of the Protestant Reformation.

Religion is a hot button issue.

People fail to explore or understand it.

Ashley in ME gets blasted for saying a few times she believes in God, yet Thane and Samara are based on religion and no one complains about it.

Leliana does believe in the Maker, but not so much in the chantry/dogma. She seems to hold to a more personal practice of her faith, than an overt systematic one that the chantry preaches.

If anyone in ME can be called a zealot, it's Samara. But she's a milf with big boobs, so obviously no one is going to blast her.

I think Leliana when hardened becomes more spiritual than regilious... meaning that she has a personal relationship with her "Maker" and "lives" the life rather than preach the life..

I would say that describes her from the get-go.
