A question to Leliana fans whom I think are qualified to answer a question about her character and what she would do.
So, my character Arcturus, likes her a lot, finds her very attractive (physically and otherwise) but loves Morrigan of course. So he told her they would be friends, felt bad about it, but eventually it worked out. She is hardened.
Arcturus became king consort and Teyrn of Gwaren, Morrigan left. So, hypothetically. If Leliana is hardened, is a friend of Arcturus (but initially wanted to be more than this), and she sees that Morrigan left. Do you think she would try to make a move on Arcturus? Not explicitly try to seduce him or anything like that (at least too explicitly, I think she would know that he is very proper). But would she try to get closer and possibly fill the vacuum that Morrigan left?
Now, Arcturus wouldn't reciprocate because he thinks it would make Anora look bad, whom he greatly respects, and because he loves Morrigan, but he would be tempted (very, especially if his relation with Anora is not as good as he would like). The reason I am asking is because as I was imagining what Arcturus would do post blight (DA does this to me), I imagined that Arcturus would ask Leliana to accompany him to Gwaren where they'll be staying there for a few months, as a friend (and as a bard who can help him). And so I wondered, would Leliana try to do anything there? Anora isn't there, Morrigan isn't also. I am leaning towards yes, she would try something (if hardened) mostly based on the fact that I can make her my mistress in post coronation even when we are friends (though this might be a gameplay mechanic error).
I am not writing a ff or anything, I just like to imagine what Arcturus would do post Blight. And this came up. So I am curious if she would try to do something. I doubt unhardened would, but I think hardened would. Thoughts?
