My gf usually just burries her face in the pillow (TMI?)
Oh, okay. Well why not buy avatar and see if you like it? You can just make your own 3D glasses out of cellophane.Kryyptehk wrote...

nVidia made some 3D glasses that work with video games. I'm assuming she's talking about that.
Why not wait for Nintendo 3DS. I hear it doesn't use glasses!adneate wrote...
I can't use 3D I have unbalanced vision, one eye is much weaker than the other so the depth effect just doesn't work at all and everything is just blue and red or with the stereoscopic stuff flat and blurry.

And I'd be the really bitter guy in the corner saying it doesn't work and it sucks . . .
That would require voluntarily sitting through Avatar, though, and I'm not sure that's entirely worth it...Shadedclan wrote...

To be fair, he probably also thought back to that one time he watched Dancing with Wolves and that other time he watched Pocahontas.adneate wrote...

I was thinking the same thing I wouldn't pay money to have James Cameron ****** in my face while recounting the time he watched Disney's Fern Gulley.

As a Canadian, and not an American Independence Day makes me sick with jingoism although it does have "welcome to Earf" had Jeff Goldblum as the wise-cracking fighter pilot with a stripper girlfriend who saves the world from alien invasion. Plus that other guy.

Maybe . . . but what matters is the star Jeff Goldblum the fighter pilot.

I'm American and I've never actually seen Independence Day although pretty much everyone else I know has. It just sounded too much like Armageddon and I didn't like that movie.
I think I might have enjoyed watching Avatar if there was no sound and they stopped pretending that they had a plot. And that ending...This is how it should have ended.
