What's important in a contest is that you have fun, that you show off your creativity, your fantasy. Not to rub in other people's faces that you won, that you "are the best", etc.

Contests aren't about winning. A contest is (sometimes) more than you think. Sometimes, while you do not realize it, you show off your opinion in your entry. Or sometimes how you think about certain stuff.

If you only participate to win, then please. Don't participate at all.

No, I could care less about winning (all though it's nice I don't feel pressured to do a prompt)  I'm just disappointed that no one seems inspired nor interested in my prompt. Do I take this personally?

Sorry, Leni! I've got a sketch done, but I'm actually attempting to add color to it. It's been a slow-going process as this week's been a hectic one for me (and also I have the coloring skills of a 5th grader xP ). 

Hmm...if we could get a list of people willing to rotate coming up with prompt ideas every week, then we could do away with the competition part.

I'm sorry, Leni. I am inspired and interested. I'm very inspired as a matter of fact. It's just that I have a problem projecting that inspiration onto paper. Sometimes the result do not match my vision, and I have to tweak it, and tweak it, and tweak it untill I am satisfied. And boy, is it hard for me to be satisfied with my work sometimes.

So don't you worry. I'll try my best to finish the prompt right. And on time. *hugs*

I have played ME and am now playing through ME2.

I really miss the Mako in ME2... Now the APC song is stuck in my head every time I play ME2.

And I am not participating in prompts because some specific person thought of one or whatever reason you think. I'm not participating because I have no inspiration and I don't have the time.

I finally managed to finish my prompt. Sorry it took so long. Life is unpredictable.

I call it, Stargazing. When they're not slaughtering the darkspawn, Leliana and Ophelia like to relax under the night sky, under the watch of the stars.
I'm not very satisfied how Ophelia's jace turned out, but after redrawing it 10 times I had to settle for the final result. For some reason, I couldn't get it right. Otherwise, I had fun working on this piece.
