Insipirational songs for the topic secrets or just inspiring songs?

Anyways here is Leliana adjusted a bit to my liking; I added
a better skin texture to her and changed her hairstyle to be more
cloister sister-ish. Thoughts? Looks good to me, but my gf said she
looks weird with that hair. So I'm looking for an outside opinion!

I'm with Giggles on this one. I absolutely adore vanilla Leliana and wouldn't have her any other way. Your Leli does look pretty cute though.



As for the songs, any inspirational ones would do. They don't have to be on the topic of secrets.

I've actually been trying to use Missy Higgin's Secret for a video montage of Lels/Marjolaine for this week's prompt.
Only thing is I've never made one before, and I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I've got a really good first 15 seconds though! xD...Hmm...I might have to rethink this...

@Jack - I like the hairstyle. I think it's cute...but, yeah, I'm with DrunkDeadman and Giggles about vanilla Leliana.

I am going through the Leliana withdrawl right now.

I am playing my Bloodmage, who is romancing Zevran and it was so sad to not pick the romance starter lines.



Although Zevran works better for her I think.

Another thing I am thinking of doing is writing a How to RP manual since I get asked how to do it all the time. Its not hard but people ask me that a lot on facebook and sometimes here.

True I have my City Elf and Dwarf Noble PT on hold to get this one done though.
A funny thought came to my mind:
My Arcane Warrior Vargus Amell can:
Control the forces of Destruction (Elemental School +Battle mage), Heal an entire army (Spirit Healer).
Face down armies of monsters and demons.
Negotiate with people from all walks of life. 
Is an Arl, Commander, and Hero.
Has literally no fear of anything or anyone.

Yet all Leliana has to do is smirk, glance, or giggle at him and he melts in about two seconds. Guy is the Determinator out of my Wardens, yet Leliana has him twisted around her little finger. 
Dont think he minds though.

I'm using that hairstyle on my latest version of Dana (some here already know what that means) at the moment! As everyone here has seen, I have changed Leli's hairstyle but that's it, no alterations to her facial structure. It just doesn't feel right to me, not after spending so many months looking at her beautiful perfect face!



But of course, it's your game and you're free to do whatever you want! I'm glad to have helped you with the morph.

Nice song! I like the story behind it, about the girl who didn't want to make the relationship public.



And making video montages isn't hard. Just make sure to keep the action in the video fitting for the music tempo, as well as any lyrics that may describe the actions. Also, try to not have any unnecessary long sequences (unless they're very relevant).

Heh thanks for the insight everyone. I like the vanilla Leliana too as well, but her skin texture freaked me out in some lighting situations, so that was my main mission, but I thought I would see some of the toolset only hairstyles on her, and thought that one looked quite well with her .

As for inspiring songs this one has a pretty inspiring ending at least I think so.


edit; I haven't changed her facial structure at all by the way, just her skin texture and hairstyle

I know what you mean, especially at the beginning of the scene where she sings in camp.

And I guess the skin texture does make a big difference then!

Since we're talking about "my Leliana"...



I may change the hairstyle again halfway through this game. It feels natural that someone like Leli would be constantly changing hairstyles.

You can get that hairstyle on the character generator by using the optional file on tmp's project page. If you have any other .xml files that may conflict in there, use Terra Ex's chargen compiler.

@Zjar  I'm impressed! I'm not sure I'll stick with the idea as I'm pretty sure I don't have enough material to work with to make it work. Fiddling with it has been a lot of fun in the meantime though. 

@Jacks - Wow, you didn't edit her face at all? I would have sworn it was different.


I actually like that her skin texture shows a few wrinkles on occassion. I think it fits with what she's been through and what she says to Wynne about looking younger than she really is...but yeah some moments of her singing scene are rather...unfortunate...[smilie]../../../images/forum/emoticons/unsure.png[/smilie]

Nope the only changes were textures(skin and eyes) and hairstyle. The difference people may be noticing is I took that shot during dialogue, so her face is moving because she is talking which could create a different look for her I imagine. My intent wasn't to make her look younger or take out the wrinkles. It was that in certain areas of the game her skin came off a weird shade of yellow/orange to me maybe it is my eyes, but it was really bugging me a lot. I agree with you on the wrinkles btw .

Some shots during dialogue can make characters look very different indeed. Couple that with the subtle changes and different hairstyle and maybe that's why it looks so different.

You could try making a smaller clip, grabbing only a portion of the song, having it fade in and fade out.

You know as much as I love Leli I've been thinking my Warden's do tend to treat her horribly a lot of the time.



HN: Slept with her, Morrigan, and Zevran, married Anora kept her around as his Mistress, then left through the portal with Morrigan

HM: Had a long term affair with both her, and Morrigan then broke up with her just before the final battle.



And so forth. Only one who she ended up having completely to herself more or less was my CE, and he had relationships with both Zev, and Morrigan before her. Hell, and now that I think about it the romance with Morrigan may have started again due to the mirror.



My Warden's are horrible people.
