While I could get a tad bit annoyed whenever she thanked the maker for something I just did, I ended up loving her. She really is a fantastic character who has some of the most intriguing dialog I've seen in any RPG. If i ever meet the man who wrote her (as well as the rest of dragon age...or anyone related to the creation of this masterpiece in general.) I would have to thank them.

Oh but I like Morrigan better.

Once you've seen the light it's hard to go back. Then again, DA2 is supposed to be more console friendly, so maybe it won't be that hard. 

The only issue may be that you'll be tempted to buy any DLCs twice, unless you wait for another ultimate edition for the PC.

I have just finished Origins for the first time and then Leliana's song.

I must say that Leliana is definitely my favorite female character of all time. Not just in video games, but even among books and movies. Before, the distinction of my fav female videogame character was probably Bastila from KotoR, I also liked Faith from Mirror's Edge. Perhaps she's my favorite video game character of all time.

I just finished Leliana's Song and it was a beautiful piece of DLC, I really liked the story and it really fleshed her character out. Even the ending I liked, you choose (or already chose it) it in Origins. This was nice, the way they ended it, if you played it after Origins you would have chose it yourself. Gameplay wise it was also nice, a few different environments and some alright action.

I could go on and on as to why I think she is so great, but its 3AM right now... So I'll do it later.

So, sign me up for the fanclub!

I defeated the Arch-demon last night, and I can't help but feel deeply sad that it's over, specifically the relationship with Leliana. It's extraordinary how a video game character could make me feel so. I had to go back after my Ultimate Sacrifice ending and allow Alistair to take the blow due to how much Leliana's fate saddened me.



I will definitely have to re-experience the whole thing on a new character.

I agree. It made the sacrifice of the Grey Warden that much more tragic. And the epilogue for her brought a smile to my face, but a bittersweet one.

I wanted to make some Leliana fan art but my artistic skills are non-existent.
So I settled to adding some text to an already beautiful Leliana painting. I thought it really went well with her epilogue if you choos the sacrifice.

So here's my little Leliana tribute. It actually took me an hour to get the text to look that way, Im just learning to use the GIMP nad was experimenting.

I'm one of the few who honestly likes the US epilogue for Leliana. Where it not because I simply can't refuse the DR, I'd be happy with that ending.
