I have refrained from posting mine here because it has been stated Male/Leliana scenes are not looked upon favorably. So I have avoided doing so here. I do lurk on occasion and comment, but otherwise don't always feel the acceptance here being a male fan of Leliana that I do iin some other boards/groups. I don't think this is intentional, but is apparent. No offense is meant by this, but it is a perception that exists, and probably a main reason this board does not move as fast or as often as some others have.

well, I have always romanced Leli with a male - but, she can go either way and once my games get to that point I will certainly post more of Leli with Quinton

If you guys want to post your m/f pics just do so.    I hope for Leli's sake that your wardens aren't such crybabies. 
As someone who likes woman and men, and romanced Leliana as both genders, I just felt a stronger sense of geniality and softness if you romance her as a girl.  So I indeed have a preference to see Leliana with girls. 

But you know it wouldn't hurt if.... some of your guys' wardens were more attractive.

Wow not quite the sh*tstorm in a teacup I had intended with a mostly innocent comment. I haven't been around these boards long, and I just noticed a trend in here that only f/f stuff got posted. I didn't mean that in a negative way, I'm not accusing anyone of anything and I'm certainly not scrolling past those pics quickly

But clearly in the past some people have felt...less-than-welcome with their mWarden/Leli stuff, which is a shame. I've played through the Leli romance both with a male and now with a female warden, and its a little bit different and fun for each. For me (as a guy) of course the male warden romance felt more natural as I'm sure the opposite would be true for a lesbian. But just from skimming this thread it would not be very apparent that Leli was also a male romance.

Word. I don't even post much at the moment because most of my time on these forums is spent lol-ing and facepalming at the folks in DA2 section. Ah, can't wait for something new to be announced so they can dissect and **** and moan about it for weeks.



On a semi Leli-related note: Did anyone ever wonder about Leliana's Fereldan roots? All we know is that her mother was a servant who decided to leave for Orlais after the war. There's no info about her father or other relatives.

I had similar thoughts on other companions as well. Who is Wynne's son? How exactly did Zevran get false info which led to Rinna's death and who provided it?

The game provided us with some interesting and quite notable facts about the characters but never fully explored them. Things like that have potential, and I feel it would be a waste not to expand upon them in the future Dragon Age releases.

Before I properly address DrunkDeadman's post here's my lame attempt at Eleliana...



EDIT: There are indeed many, many tidbits of info about the companions that would've been very interesting to explore further. I had honestly never wondered about Leli's father. My guess is that he either died while she was too young to remember, or perhaps he was never involved with her.

Zevran's story about Rinna would've been great for a Zevran DLC. Alas....

About Leli's family...I think Leli probably never knew her father.   IIRC, she says at some point that her mother was unmarried and pregnant, but Lady Cecile didn't turn her mother away despite it being scandalous.  She really was all alone after her mother died.

I agree with you DrunkDeadman that there is still more that could be explored with pretty much all of the companion characters in Origins (...with perhaps the exception of Oghren <_<). I'm hopeful that there will be at least a few small references if not outright cameos from some of the old crew in future DA installments. Or perhaps we could run into new characters that knew them from their pasts and can provide insights, like Ines does for Wynne in Awakening.  Meeting Ines and discovering what the other Circle mages thought of Wynne is by far one of my favorite moments from the entire expansion.

Thanks wicked! I did a small modification, reducing the size of Leli's head, I think I had made it too big at first. And I agree, she looks really good as a brunette... I'll post some pics of brunette Leli in a minute.

Also, not a fan of Oghren I take it? 

And OMG, Ines!!! As much as I hate agreeing to help Wynne, it's worth it just to get to meet Ines!
