That was a joke.

Pilgrimage. An anual pilgrimage to this site would be a susbtantial economic boost, as it promotes commercial activity and dynamism, not only in this area, but also port cities that would recieve pilgrims.

That would also increase Ferelden's symbolic and political standing. The birth and resting place of Andraste.
Also, those cultists are outside the law and present a threat to my vision of Ferelden, so they had to be broken. They will have to be relocated somewhere else.

A big opportunity for Ferelden.

She got lucky because she didn't get to suffer intimidation from Archie. He can be intimidating...very.

And I guess this also means Arcturus wouldn't have any reservations about defiling the ashes if it had been beneficial to the cause?

If it somehow benefited him and the cause, yes he would have. But he, like me, hates waste. Defiling it, even without all the economics and politics involved, is a monumental waste.

Well, this thread was getting a bit inactive but all of a sudden I stop lurking for a few days and there's a rush of activity.

For the brunette Leliana - to me, she loses all her charm.

But this, on the other hand (by Petehog):
