Black hair Leli emo/goth Leli. Even though it barely looks like her anymore.
Hauntingly beautiful.

Well that is an interesting Goth-Leliana.

Sometimes I harden Leliana and sometimes I dont.

Now that I have the achievement I dont despoil the urn ever.

Besides it makes Fereldan more famous, since they have the ACTUAL grave of Andrastae.

Poor Kolgrim was just miffed that Gerald Butler was made Leonidas in 300.

A gothic / emo Leliana is kind of a paradox and contradiction.

That is why I said "interesting"

Now back to learning HTML for my class.

Whoa! While goth Leli doesn't resemble Leliana much, I'm in love with that design. Black hair + clear blue eyes + pale skin = HAWT in my book.

She could be a perky goth.

Just wondering, as a Male human noble, is it possible to return to rebuild Highever, WITH Leliana in the epilogue?

Or does she only stay if you settle in Denerim/Travel/Rebuild the Wardens?

I am pretty sure that she follows the HN back to Highever.

If she's in love with you she'll follow you no matter which ending you pick. So yeah, she will follow you back to Highever.

I hate hate hate how the epilogue slides phrasing is "at least for a time" though except for the wardens ending.

I KNOW!

But there is a mod that changes the wording on most slides to make them more detailed and removing that dreaded "at least for a time" thing (while staying true to the lore of course).

This is the slide for choosing to travel together:

"At least for a time" bummed me out at first, but …

Well, all love ends, one way or another. That does not diminish its worth.

Eh, yeah, not necessarily.

Til death do us part can be meant for real.

Ooops... my mistake then! Well, but then the "at least for a time" would be... "at least for a lifetime"... :)

I like there's ambiguity frankly, fits in far better with Dragon Age's world and ambience than a "happily ever after" kind of ending.

I don't need to hear the words "happily ever after", but the "for a time" is just too annoying. I prefer the slides from the mod I mentioned. True to the lore, still somewhat ambiguous, but no "for a time" thing. Win!

Just to ask, but for the encounter in the Pearl, does she just need to be hardened or is both hardened and romanced?

Hardened and romanced. But you don't have to go to bed with her beforehand (as with Alistair).

Got it. Thought it may have been just hardened. ... is there a mod that does that (just hardened)? lol

Well, there is a mod that allows you to set the hardened and love flags on and off as you please, so if you're not in a romance and already hardened her, you could temporarily set her romance flag to active.

The way I look at it, just because the story has dark themes, which I do enjoy exploring, doesn't mean there shouldn't necessarily be any possibility of a few good things happening at the end. It's just as valid, and it fits better with the arc of Leliana's romance, specifically, imo.

And I'm fine with ambiguity. The Awakening epilogue slide, for example, doesn't bother me. But, the way the "at least for a time" is structured irks me, and it doesn't really leave all that much room open for interpretation...well, at least that's the feeling I'm personally left with after reading it.

Same here.

Although I don't play Awakening with my canon character (it's OOC for her in the first place), I remember the epilogue slide (about being seen a year later in Denerim) and I liked it. It's similar to the ones offered by the mod I mentioned in that it was ambiguous, but it didn't make it sound like you eventually parted ways, which is the EXACT feeling the "at least for a time" line gives me.
