That's an absolutely delicious way of putting it.

We should compare all the romances to food!

Someone else can do it since Addai is hunting for me after bashing Alistair. Fanbating never gets old.

It could take another 400 years for the darkspawn to find one, but a 5th blight is unavoidable. They Grey Wardens are needed and they are going to remain in the lore(even if we don't get to play as one in the next game).

That's still not a reason for my characters to stay at Vigils Keep though :P

I doubt it'll be 400 years, I doubt it will even be 4 years till the next blight. Apparently every age is 100 years according to the chantry and named for some Omen observed in the last years of the previous age. The Dragon Age was supposed to be a time of great upheaval and change according to the Chantry, since Dragons (who were worshipped by the Tevinter Imperium) reappeared which the chantry considered a bad omen. We're already 30 years in and the only thing that has happened is that Ferelden defeated Orlais in a war of independence and a blight occured that was quickly stamped out by Ferelden alone. I think a lot more is going to happen in the mean time, blights and world wars look likely. Besides how much sense would it make to have a game called Dragon Age that doesn't take place in the Dragon Age?

Morrigan the first food that comes to mind is:

Thats assuming the chantry just dosent do that at random. Besides the Dragon AGe came from when A Dragon Went on rampage.

Well I don't know about food but Morrigan is like a fine scotch, first it's really bad, then it's just bad, then it's kinda good and then it's gone.

NOt a pigeon turd, a moldy piece of cheese. I could never eat a sandwich for a month.

But the feeling is the same:

Hey this is cool!

I like this! It works well!

Hold the phone, <gag>

roughly my feelings about Alistair. Dont tell Addai or she will come in here and fangirl rage all over the place.

I can't stand the Alistair romance because it reminds me of me in highschool and I get physically ill thinking about it:sick:. As for Zevran I hate that character's guts and he's had a nasty habit of winding up dead in every single playthough, throat cut, run through with a greatsword and once ran through with a longsword and then beheaded. Besides Leliana's the better rogue, DW rogues stink if you don't micro manage them and when I'm playing a primal mage I really don't have time to tend to Zevran so I kill him for both our sakes (mine more his not so much). I wish they would patch in the ability to execute him with magic like at the end of Awakening frying him to death with magical lighting fire would be pretty cool.

I disagree that the next Old God would be found so soon. I mean, there are only two left and the darkspawn are mindless again (except the Awakened who don't want to find them) and have no idea where to start. Ages don't have to be named for omens, either. Thus far there have been the

Divine
Justinia I is crowned the first ever Divine, and the Chantry is officially formed. Divine Age where Justina I was crowned the first Divine and the Chantry was founded, the Glory Age where the first Blight was ended, the Towers Age when the Grand Cathedral in Orlais was completed, the Black Age where Exalted Marches were lead against the hearesy in the Tevinter Imperium, the Exalted Age where the Exalted Marches ended and a Blight began, the Steel Age where the Queen of Antiva was found impaled on four steel swords, the Storm Age where the Exalted March was called against the qunari, the Blessed Age where twins were born to the Emperor of Orlais, and the Dragon Age where a high dragon was spotted proving that they aren't extinct after all.

The Chantry isn't psychic and there is no reason to believe that everything will go to hell just because dragons aren't fully extinct. They are still rare enough that everyone thought they were. Besides, who wants to play another game with a Blight? You may as well just replay DA:O.

@Sarah1281 I'd disagree only on the point that Bioware wrote all that stuff and Dragon Age isn't Lost with tons of deliberate misinformation and red herrings. Besides the blight we see in Origins is hardly the blight of legend we don't see massive armies of hundreds of thousands of soldiers marching into battle on a landscape turned dead and black by millions of darkspawn marching in a battleline as wide as the horizon under a sky on fire with boiling churning clouds. We end the blight in one battle, it hardly feels like a true struggle for survival. But a two archdemon mega-blight especially if it's after a bitter religious war between the various nations of Thedas, and if they burst out in Weisshaupt like they have hinted at wiping out the entire Grey Warden leadership it's easy to imagine the Warden's being torn apart over who should lead the order into battle. Will Antivan Warden's really bow to Orlesian Warden's simply because there are more of them? Besides there is no rhyme or reason to how the Darkspawn search for Old Gods it might take 100,000 years it might take 10 days.

Well, all food leaves you in the end...

Morrigan's romance becomes much deeper than just looking for a GW "baby-daddy" btw!

I actually like Morrigan's romance and her as a character a lot, in fact the more I go though the less I like Wynne and the more I prefer Morrigan.

My next playthrough will romance morrigan for the first time, so I'll get back to you on that. I did about 1/3 of her romance, a while ago and was not impressed.

I think there's a lot of depth in her character and her relationship with the PC.  Terra_Ex's dialogue restoration mod really helps flesh it out too.  Some really good stuff was left on the cutting room floor.
